Nice video! Question. Why did you put your quick draws on the bolts at the top rather than using the provided clips up there? I'm going to check out hanging mountain soon and plan to lead the easier climbs and have my girlfriend top rope. Is there a benefit to using your draws to rappel/top rope off? Is it to save the wear on the permanent gear? This will be my first time leading sport climbing outdoors so I'm a noob. Thanks!

Yes, the Quickdraws are in place to avoid wear and tear on Hanging Mountains anchor setups. From what I understand, if multiple people plan on climbing the same route only ONE person should be lowering off the provided clips. But It's always good to look up whatever information you can or talk to some locals when visiting a new area because some places are a little stricter and require the last party to rapel and for nobody to lower off provided anchors. The few climbs in this video would be a good place to start, be safe out there.
