I think this would be an awesome porch or hanging from trees outside! Micro lights or solar minis added for an outside wedding or outdoor parties!

This is one of the best pieces of information on hanging Money plants
Ya lo he hecho con las esponjas en otros proyectos y es muy difícil sacar la raíz de ellas cuando crecen. Yo pondría otro tipo de separador en este caso. Felicidades, las plantas son muy bonitas. Hi from California

@@GreenPlants5 absolutely How are the plants staying in the tire without falling? Can you make a video with close up angles to explain exactly how ?
Nice idea but I would use sphagnum moss instead of nylon sponge and instead of drain holes I would drill a second water hole on opposite side.
@abenaadjei7346
3 жыл бұрын
wouldn't that increase gnats using the moss and the sponge helps retain moisture longer. As for the multiple holes, I would think that helps even out water distribution so the tire doesn't become lopsided and with multiple holes, the drainage is lighter all the way around. Just my thoughts as to why it might have been done this way.
Simplesmente Maravilhoso!
parabéns lindo demais de uma criatividade excepcional.
I think the only thing I would do differently is to add a second watering hole because I’m unclear how much water would reach the other side with all those drain holes

Amazing sir!! But my question is, is it sustainable? I am not sure if the plant would get much space to grow? Also the sponge doesn't push the roots? Also, watering from one side wouldn't cause unequal water distribution?

I think you can make a cople of holes(tu put tiny funnel), as for the space to grow...well, propbably on the one stage it might overgrow,as all plants do.Concering the space to grow the sponges are very soft and roots grow inside them. I wouldn't put such a plant inside, but outside in the porch or so--looks great.
It's awesome 😍 💚

It looks like a portal to a jungle-dimension. I would never hang an old tire in my house (too "life-hacky"), but love the form factor, gotta find a way to make this. Probably gonna use a non-soil medium too so it doesn't fall out over time.

Complimenti 👏 Bravissimo 👍 Оригинально🔥
It's amazing but how does it look after 6 months?
Reminds me of the episode from Trailer park boys (animated version) where ricky grows weed hanging from upside down pots and used gravity to make weed grow faster
We cut truck tires in half, taped them together and filled them with cement. When dry we carefully took the tires off and released the cement ring. We used them for out door planters along our drive way. It takes a while you have to fill the inside a little at a time with a dry packed cement mix and turn the tire a little at a time adding the section only on the bottom once you have it filled just let it cure for a week inside the tire then take the tire off. If it brakes, use it anyway broken one look just as nice as whole rings.
Lindo demais 🥰♥️
