    I'm comfortable doing 4x12repa of the full hanging leg raises and no difficulty doing feet up to bar. What are your thoughts on using a medecine ball/weights to add load to my hanging leg raises in order to lower my reps and increase my workout benefits for strength? Provided I have a strong lower back, should I worry about injury or am I safe to try this out albeit slowly?

    If you have a bad grip, do dead hang for as long as you can, for slippery hands use powdered chalk that you can get online. Hope this helps.

    Okay so when I do the hanging leg raise, when my legs are out in front I get a huge pull in the front Center part of my quad. You don’t even mention the quads in this video. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this normal?

  • @ZackHenderson

    @ZackHenderson

    This is normal. The quads are both hip flexors and knee extensors. You're doing each to a high degree on the HLR.
