Hangin with MTV Steve Isaacs Live Broadcast with Skid Row and Rob Halford 9/16/92
Ойын-сауық
I was an MTV VJ in the early 90’s. For decades, I’ve had a box of VHS tapes from my shows and segments sitting in a closet, and I finally digitized and and uploaded 'em. Had to remove the music videos (sorry), but enjoy this crazy 90’s time machine from when MTV was out of its mind - and great.
I used to host a daily live show called Hangin' with MTV, and this is the episode that aired on September 16, 1992. The live guest was Skid Row with an appearance from Rob Halford from Judas Priest.

MTV Music Television ruined itself sadly. Cool to see this decades later. Thanks for posting Steve.
Aaah, I love these! Brings back so many great memories. It was the days where we wore band tees of bands we were actually real fans of.
My two favorite singer kicking some major ass. Thanks for sharing, bro! ❤
Thank you so much for this entire show. There is only part of this that was included on the "Road Kill" home video and had no idea that "Cold Gin" was performed. Very cool to see the whole intro to "Monkey Business" as well. I am hoping Dave and Rachel will someday release more of the pro shot concert video from the 91/92 era/
Great segment! RH as a guest was awesome. The house band is pretty tight too!

Yeah, Skinny Memphis were really good!
This really might be the best version of Delivering the Goods song from Judas Priest.
Awesome!!! Thanks so much for posting!

Obrigado!!! 🇧🇷🤘🤘
Wow, Rob halford2🤘
Does anyone get the feeling that i can see why they broke up a couple years after this. Its like its all about Sebastian and his back up band. They dont ever really talk much or get the credit like Sebastian does. Then it was just him on the Rolling Stone cover. I can sense the jealousy and resentment on this video
you're awesome
No band could stand up against Slave to The Grind / B-Side Ourselves days of Skid Row. They were on the top of their game during that time.
it is queensrycht!. numerao number!.
I remember taping this on VHS when it aired, but I don't remember "Cold Gin." I may have simply started taping late, or was that part never aired?
bingo - principal suidly man!.
fern went to verts!.
so hows the boxing going!.
Baz should have let Rob hit the tougher notes.
BAck before he blew his voice, or was replaced with a clone

Some people just have good genetics & and super resilient vocal cords unfortunately Sebastian is not one of those few. His whisky drinking didn’t help. He still is a above average singer
Did they make you dress like Eddie Vedder or was that your own style? I was 18 that year, so I dressed like an idiot too.
