JP Hobby Retracts option as a replacement to the E-Flight retracts for the Hanger 9 Mustang P-51 20cc.
Check out the JP Hobby Retract EU website. I bought the 90 degree option from AliExpress, but it does appear there is an 84 degree option from the EU website which would be much better as there is a lot of dihedral in the wing, and you'll need to put some washes in the get the 90 degree gear to sit correctly.

Informative video, thank you. Please advise details on the struts you purchased and the actual fitment process into the retracts mechanism.

Yes, I think they are the original struts. I did end up buying the 84 degree version.
Now make sure you put in the tail wheel retract.
Easy way to remove blind nuts i find, is to screw in a bolt and tap with a light hammer. 2oz ball pein
The original retracts have 85°. I´m kinda scared that if I use the 84° ones from JP, that I also have to use a washer. But then they might not close completely 🤔. Also the original one closes awfully fast. 1.25s on 5V. The JP ones look way more realistic.
