Just recently I hung some paper that was very paper like (without coating) which was noticeably harder to smooth. I had to use a couple of 4 inch felt smoothers, one in each hand to work this out without going insane. So your comments in this video had me thinking about getting some felt at the fabric store and using some high strength spray adhesive and making my own felt covered 6-8” smoother. I don’t have anything coming up too soon, but once I get around to making it I’ll let you know how it turns out. It may take some refining, but I’m beginning to think it’s worth a shot. I’m even thinking about making my own smoothers.

True story. Peel and stick is horrible. Can't move It around. Likes to stick to itself more than the wall. Lots of paper has gone down in quality especially the backing. You ever try using a sweep with delicate papers? Are you using the 838 on this paper? Keep up the good work

Maybe a stupid question, and maybe I’ve missed it on some of your other videos, but how do you suggest painting skirting boards when there is a thick pile carpet butting up against it, so you don’t get paint on the carpet, or so it doesn’t lean back and stick on the board?

It worries me the way yo u wave your knife about, I always retract the blade after cutting, it become habit if you do it all the time - much saver
