If you really know boxing absolutely agree with Jeff it was a very close fight highly competitive for people saying Haney can’t beat Shakur or tank cause of this performance how do you think those two would fair with a two time gold medalist and former undisputed champion ar lightweight? For me it was a draw, but I don’t have a problem with either winning that fight. Loma not performing in the 12th round was what lost it in the eyes of the judges. But no one was robbed. Very good, tactical fight. A draw was probably the fairest decision, but someone holding every belt at 135 was always going to get the benefit

Personally, that was such a good damn close fight, there needs to be another to allow each fighter to prove they are better than the other. Shit, why not fight 3 times!!!!!!! Such a good close fight. That would the dumbest decision on Loma’s end. He’s an old 35, which is why he was the underdog. If they fight two more times, it’ll end just like your favorite trilogy; the old fighter will put up a good fight just to end up losing like everyone expected.

@@antoniowinchester860 IDK about "Old" bro, he was putting up record numbers in all his exercises this camp. When I think back to Toney vs McCallum, I don't remember who got the best of who. I remember some of the highest skills ever displayed in boxing. This has the potential to do that. Haney was hurt twice but def came back like a true champ in the 12th. What if Loma had poured on him more when he was hurt? I would love to see what adjustments each high level fighter makes for the next bout and I MOST DEF can see Loma winning.

Tank took Pedraza's 0, KO'd Santa Cruz, Barrios, Isaac Cruz, Romero all quality operators. Why wouldn't he take the huge money Ryan Garcia? Tank about to completely take over, no1 everything.

1:45 . I actually thought the exact same thing as Jeff, but if Loma won the last round based on the existing scorecards, then I believe it would have technically been a majority draw. Separate from what the existing scorecards were, I totally agree with what Jeff said about the last round.

Yeah he'd need to press it in the 11th and either drop Haney in the 11th or 12th. I think Haney was fully recovered by the start of the 12th so he'd have had to press it the last minute of the 11th for sure

I happy for Devin i knew he was gonna just box lomo. Not get wild stay composed and level headed. Devin pushed lomo so he could feel his strength. In my personal opinon i think it worked in devins favor. Lomo was hold just as much as devin. Just bc devin doesnt have huge power doesnt mean his punches are soft.

Great interview with Jeff Mayweather, his knowledge & experience is second to none. The only thing the score cards did not reflect the actual fight something a bit fishy to say the least went on there.

Tank realized loma still dangerous so he will avoid him for another 5 years 😂

Loma threw flurries that didnt land the judges did a sharp job on noticing what actualy landed and what didnt

Isn’t there a neutral Body that investigates suspect scores? This was a close fight. Dave Moratti’s scorecard for the 9th showed that Haney won that round when it was obviously Lomo’s. Will he answer for that to someone? Accountability, gentlemen will sharpen a judge’s eye. Poor decisions like this and many others breeds mistrust in Judges being competent or honest. 6:44

Floyd has never been touched up like that in a fight! He also had a injury against Castillo.

I don’t know anyone who took Loma’s age into consideration. People are taking like he’s an old dog or something, it doesn’t make sense to me. I never saw him as the old guy going in for one last fight, he’s still elite when it comes to his skills. Had he not stuck to his strategy and kept the aggression when Haney was hurt he would’ve knocked him out.

He didn’t do much early, Haney was blasting the body and the head. Did you see Lomas face? Loma did better than I thought he would but no body work really hurt him. He had a good couple rounds in 10 and 11. I had it Haney 8 to 4. Loma did nothing in the 12th . That was mind boggling, he should have wind milled or something at least.
