Love this shuttle. ❤

I love my bobbin shuttles, and I have several of the Aerlit ones. Unfortunately, I get so frustrated with the tension, either the bobbin unwinds too easily or I have to force it to turn. This looks like the perfect solution!

I've been using my new Dreamlit shuttles for about a week and am extremely pleased with them. They combine the ease of bobbin winding with the control of a stationary thread package, so the thread doesn't unwind unless I want it to.

I just found these on the Handy Hands site. Thanks for the video! I can’t wait to get my hands on one. I love the ease and versatility of the bobbin in the Aerlit, but prefer the size and post of the Moonlit because I use beads the majority of the time. What a perfect combination!!!!!!

Have just gotten my first one (paying off second) and had a go with it. Its pretty good. I had to put a small hole to keep my thread in place while I wind (only real downside is that the bobbins didn't come with anywhere to secure the thread but easy enough to fix). Getting used to tatting with a hook slowly (first shuttle i have owned with a hook, not a pick). Now all we need is a case to keep all our pretty bobbins in (as regular cases don't work for the shape)

Can the hook be removed? Picks and hooks always get in my way.

Gud idea! Wow !a removable or better version can be a folding/ push in hook while tatting!!

Approx. how many yards of tatting thread does the bobbin hold?

@@shannonb7263 I would say with using the bobbin, I was able to get 4 yards of size 20 comfortably. You can get more on but it’s fiddly when using the bobbin and winder.
