It is an inescapable fact that people grow older. This happens to everyone, unless they die at a young age. Unfortunately, some videos suggest that growing older is a shame and that old age comes with ugliness. Such images can instill fear in people, causing them to undergo all kinds of cosmetic procedures such as botox and plastic surgery. Ironically, this can actually lead to a less natural appearance than if one had simply aged naturally. The makers of these videos may not be particularly attractive themselves and seem to get a sick satisfaction from expressing their jealousy in this way. However, let's not forget that the people on such negative display here gave us wonderful films in their prime that we all enjoyed. They deserve respect and appreciation for their contributions, even as they enter the autumn of their lives.

If they sample a deceased actors work for a modern work they still give the actor credit. Lawrence Oliver died in 1989 but they used him as a pivotal character in the 2004 movie, "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" (great movie by the way) He is listed in the movies credits but the movie isn't in his filmography, so, go figure?

Michael Landon was on Bonanza as Little Joe way before Little House on the Prairie. Also, William Shatner was the original Captain Kirk on Star Trek way before TJ Hooker series. Sherman Helmsley was a character on All in The Family in the early 1970s. He played a neighbor Jefferson....thats how a spin off called The Jeffersons was made. ANDY Griffeth was on TV before Matlock. He played a local sheriff in a small town in North Carolina called Mayberry in the 1960s.

Adam 12, Emergency, Simon & Simon, Riptide, Starsky & Hutch, and one show had regulars like David Morse, Denzel, Ed Begley Jr. Terence Knox, Howie Mandel called St. Elsewhere. There were many shows about families that featured actors like Brian Kerwin, Richard Thomas and so many more.

You name several actors overlooking the roles they were either most famous for or most recently famous for (William Shatner, Star Trek? Scott Backula, NCIS:New Orleans? Michael Landon, Bonanza?) And apparently forgot several were academy awards winners like Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks. I can only assume this was a shock value attempt at showing the results of ageing?
