    I worked with Jimmy for about a year. Various wrestlers would come into our WTTV Channel 4 studios every week for promo interviews. He was a great talent, true showman, and definitely mastered the art of entertaining the crowd. I loved him calling me "daddy".

    In 1979, a new pro wrestling magazine hit newsstands and magazine racks across the nation. It was Pro Wrestling Illustrated. When the first issue went to press, Jimmy Valiant was ranked at #8 in what is now the WWE. And condolences to the family of Archie Gouldie, aka The Mongolian Stomper, who has answered that final bell.

    Jimmy was also known as tag team specialist not just up north but around the USA.He and his brothers won tag titles in Georgia, San Francisco, Florida, WWF, and in Indianapolis. They were a very big draw!
