Great content, I appreciate the level it was pitched at. It immediately struck me as reminiscent of the Ventura, so I'm glad I wasn't alone in that. It's certainly interesting that we're seeing these very sculptural architectural forms rooted in movements from the 20thC as the way forward now - I'd also put Toledano and Chan in there. My final word on it would be COMPLIANCE. ;)

Love this case

Buying on faith through the internet has a price ceiling for most people, I expect.

The dial triangle offset from the case triangle bugs me. I really like my Ventura Open Heart Auto, and think most any Ventura from the Hamilton Ventura line looks better than this. Only thing here I kinda like is the sector dial touch.

12, 4 and 8 make perfect triangle and this watch does not take advantage making my OCD hurt :)

This is the watch that Hamilton should have come out with as an update to the Ventura. It's not exactly my style, but I'm glad Anamo decided to produce this watch. It's true that the watch market sorely needs new watch designs, like this. Maybe Hamilton will see this watch and finally hire some talented designers to freshen up their own models.

personally if I can't see the movement or the seconds hand and there's no complications I'd rather just have quartz

I understand theyre getting watches for free,but now thats a joke review.How the hell he mentioned Ventura once at the end for a couple of seconds and made poems about Anoma originality and uniqueness😂😂Also a homage twice more expensive than the original?Lol

Other than shape, I do not see similarities (just to list some differences.. hands, dial, lug-less, bezel, color, lacquered dial, sector dial, hidden crown, curved caseback for better fit, etc, etc).. Every diver watch looks like a Rolex Submariner to you then.

@@relojeroschat Ventura was in dozens of iterations and variants through the years,automatic is also lug-less.Ofc,the details can be different,but the case similarity is too striking.Also striking is silencing this obvious fact from the reviewer.Just wait and check the comments section tomorrow and how many will be about Hamilton😜

We don't get free watches. I did this review solely because I wanted to (I actually had to ask the brand to let me hold on to the watch longer to do so, and it has since been returned) and if you can't see the difference between this and a Ventura, then I imagine every dive watch just looks like a Sub to you. Just because you don't like or understand a watch doesn't mean others can't.
