Finally someone has real shots of these watches. They look great!

They are spectacular, I was excited when I saw the power point on Zoom to order these, but once you hold them in person they are just wow.
Nice to see a "reasonably priced" integrated-bracelet-type watch! Reminds me of the VC Overseas with the easy strap change system.

I agree, it has such a rich design that it reminds me of Omega, VC and the Perpetual Calendar model especially gets some very high comparisons.
Truly love this watch. It has an elegance other integrated watches do not have. Incredible value too.

I agree. Frederick is a very underrated brand, I have been a big fan of them for years when it comes to quality for the money.
I just purchased a highlife and runabout waiting for them to be delivered now... Both look great
really timeless and classy design ❤️
Great watch. Well made and well priced. I like quality but if you’re not careful, it’s very easy to spend too much on a steel sports watch. I’ve done that already.
Cool stuff... I think I like the two-tone a bit better even
Can't decide between the blue and two-tone. Both look fantastic!
beautiful!
Very beautiful! Soon available with more than 30% discount in Italy..
Beautiful watch the two tone is my favorite

The Two-Tone has very Omega vibes in the colouring. It is very eye catching
I'd love the two tone. Maybe next year. Still waiting for my baby Alpinist. Hopefully you'll be getting them soon

Great choice, will hopefully be early November, all those 6R35 watches have been slightly delayed.
Hey Not sure but mine didn’t come with a rubber strap. Just the leather, also there is no COSC cert papers like yours? It’s the white dial one. FC-303S4NH6... ? I’m confused if there’s two versions of each of these
I like it . It is to some degree inspired from the Omega constellation with integrated bracrlet especially the shape of transition from case to bracrlet.

Agreed, and from working on the Omega bracelet versus the Frederique bracelet, the FC feels more solid and just handles better to work on. If I needed another dressier watch I would have the blue dial COSC on my wrist. But I have 2 other Frederique’s that cover the dressy side.
What is the case thickness? I'd hope its 12mm or under.
Above my pay grade at the moment, but nice models nonetheless. I do enjoy the case dimensions and the strap change options. Among the 3, I would take the simpler looking blue dial, because I like the idea of having a COSC at a lower cost. I would have liked to see a lume shot though... maybe for your next videos? My eyes are going to stayed peeled.

Will see what I can do for the next video on the Lume.
Not a dress watch imho, more like a classy sport watch. Looks good.
There are actually quite a number of entry-level Swiss chronometer certified... look at Certina, Formex... I mean hell you can get a COSC Tissot for half the price of this. I'm not comparing this to higher priced watches, but let's just keep it real for a second, there are plenty of entry Swiss COSC options.
Thank you for this hands on, first one I have seen for this release! Can you share what the lug to lug size size is? Curious if they have been able to keep it at 48mm or below given the 41mm size of the case
@halifaxwatchcompany7728

Just Measured, and roughly 43mm. Really is a nice case size without the lugs. Also one of the nicest custom fit bracelets like that I've seen. More solid then the Omega Constellation bracelet in my opinion when I see those in the shop.

@@halifaxwatchcompany7728 wow 43 mm lug to lug is very impressive for a 41mm case watch!

It is a very impressive collection. We don't usually like the custom fit style straps on the higher end stuff as they can be a pain a few years later. This watch is very intelligent in the design even for that.

@@halifaxwatchcompany7728 What exactly qualifies as a "custom fit" style? Is this different from removable links?
What is the LUG to LUG measurement, and is it a screw down crown!? Thx this is a beautiful watch.
@halifaxwatchcompany7728

it is roughly 43mm lug to lug and it is not a screw down crown. FC own Alpina as well and use those as their sport collection so they don't use screw Crowns on the Frederique Constant.
I really like these and wanted to buy the Highlife COSC chronometer as my first automatic watch but the case is just going to be too big for me to live with, I think. Might go Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Elite instead. Someday I hope to own the FC Perpetual Calendar though

Lol what has the sealander diver to do with this dresswatch? I mean what do they have in common, thats two different watch cathegories? 🤔🤨
@assortedpov9722
Жыл бұрын
@@cutecoots The Sealander Elite is nowhere near being a dive watch and besides that, why do my preferred choices have to be the same ‘category’ of watch? Rhetorical question; I like what I like and am not concerned with your opinion about it.

@@assortedpov9722 lol why so angry 😅 i just thought you want to compare two watches within the same cathegory and was wondering why they arent.

@@cutecoots I ended up buying a Christopher Ward C63 bronze COSC chronometer, which is again pretty different from the Sealander Elite, the FC Highlife COSC and the Formex Essence 39 I was also considering. Those are all marketed as kind of smart sports watches; that’s what they have in common. Very pleased with my C63 bronze - had it months now.
Still on the fence with this brand...at first glance they scream cheap mall watches but some of their stuff is truly interesting when you dig a little deeper.
@halifaxwatchcompany7728

They are a very under rated brand, depends where in the world you go how well their known. Where they don’t pump a fortune into advertising they are a brand that requires some digging. There are very few companies that have the same build quality at the prices, especially when you see their higher end Manufacture stuff.
I wish it didn't have the globe 🌐 on the dial. I'm afraid this will look like out of date in a few short years.
@halifaxwatchcompany7728
3 жыл бұрын
Hard to say, it is so well done i think it will be timeless, but even if it's not for everyone i think whoever has one will always appreciate the dial. Like some of those crazy coloured Tissot T-races. I still have my Seiko Great Blue from 17 years ago with a blue globe on the dial. (not to date myself)
No adjustment on the clasp... unfortunately

The sacrifice to get the beautiful deployment, unfortunately they don’t have a micro adjustment option on that clasp.
