Good pros and cons video. I own vintage Polar Explr-2, Explr 39 mk2, vintage Bluesy sub, and '23 LV Sub mk2, I am currently waiting for the call for the gorgeous CHNR.
I saw both at AD the other day and I'm immediately captivated by the RB's presence and solid feel.. Daytona seems more refined. Two tone watches usually not my cuppa of tea until i saw RB... as usual... no allocation and need to drop interest...

This watch would look amazing on red rubber band. That being said I would definitely wear this watch when I travel to Asia. Perfect colors for tropicals. Also this would be a perfect two watch collection together with Black Bay 58 with black dial. Both are TT and serve different purposes. BB58 for daily wear, and Root Beer for fine dinings and trips to Asia.

Thank you for the tip about opening the clasp V 🙏🏻, that’s the first I hear about it! I always opened mine with one finger tip at least once a day taking my watch off before going to bed, but from now on I’ll use technique. I agree on seeing the watch in person or on pictures and videos, a huge difference and like you said it even shines more reflecting in the sun. As for men wondering if it looks too feminine, In my opinion I don’t think so at all. I’m not trying to sound bold about what I’m going to say, but it’s just to give an idea. I’m a very masculine looking man with an athletic muscular build and wide wrists. I don’t feel the watch looks out of place on my wrist. It looks elegant and sporty at the same time, therefor you can wear it dressed up or dressed down. So I feel this watch is more versatile for any occasion than like let’s say the Pepsi or Batman. The only thing I had to get used to is the size. Due to my wider wrists and muscular arms I’m used to wear bigger watches like for example Garmin Fenix 6 Solar Pro 51 mm while doing action sports and navigating using build in maps or my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono 600m rose gold/ SS which is 44,5 mm. @@veescorner1928 Yes I’m thinking about the SkyDweller as my next watch. Or the Sea dweller since it’s a more burlier watch.
For me, it is the Rootbeer, anytime.
I love the two-tones as a dressier option because I don’t wear full gold anything, but I’m a guy. Bluesy and Root-Beer (which is more appropriately called coffee ☕️ or chocolate 🍫) are great watches.

Do you have some kind of protector on your band? The gold looks wavy for some reason.

@@veescorner1928 I’m not holding my breath for the Root Beer any time soon but my Omega Boutique lady promised me one - hopefully within the year. Yes, the Omega bracelets are pretty awful. The Speedy bracelet is ok except there have been complaints it has sharp edges.

It’s hot, but let’s face it, you can buy the YG TT GMT for 4-6k less and it’s more ballsy.
Do you have a plastic on the gold band? It looks fake and dented.

Looks good on your wrist. I think rose gold is more feminine than yellow gold .

Imo the Root beer, Bluesy and YM2 are the only three watches that look good in two tone. Everything else has to be SS or full gold !!

remove those stickers on the bracelet, it cheapens the look of a beautiful watch. Watches are made and to be worn
Do not buy now. Rolex are about to get a wake up call of about a 30 percent price correction. Economy crashing , toys are first things to go. Can’t wait to buy.
