Now that the premiere has ended, I'd like to offer a few final words on the project. We've been working on this dub since 2017, over 6 years now. I joined on to voice Asgore early into the process purely by accident. Phoenix had messaged me on Deviant Art asking me to voice the character. Why? I'm not entirely sure. Of the voices I was known for at the time, Asgore was not one of them, but she asked anyway, and now it's one of my more well-known voices. All because I happened to look at an account I NEVER look at. And later, I came to voice Sans by a similar accident when another VA Phoenix had in mind for him fell through. Funny how that stuff happens. Point is, it took a lot of accidents, coincidences, and strange choices for us to get here. I know a lot of Handplates Fans, originally came from Starbot Dubs and then Vade when he picked the comic back up after starting his own channel. But with Starbot... Doing its own thing and Vade having gone off to be famous, many of you came here. I know our whole thing is very different from both of those Dubs, and might have been hard to get used to, but we appreciate everyone that joined us late into the game, and 10-fold for everyone who's been with us from the start. This was not easy. I often struggled to record my lines due to external factors and my own mental health, the production of the Genocide special that I edited was grueling, and I'm sure my antics probably impeded more than they had any right to, but I'm glad to be here all the same. We made it to the end, the absolute. So having put everything we could into this, we thank you all for being here. We thank Zarla for everything she's done for us even in her own struggles, and I thank Phoenix for asking me to voice a character I wasn't experienced enough to voice, all those years ago. -Zane

I can't believe it's really the end... 5 years since I found this comic. If it wasn't for your channel, I never would have stumbled upon this masterpiece. So thank you both Phoenix and Zane for staying persistent and never abandoning dubbing this series. I will never forget it.

Are we about to witness history??!? First youtuber to actually FINISH an Undertale Dub?!?? 🤯🤯 Yes I’m joking about it, don’t really feel like getting corrected in the comments today, but it’s not often that the end of an Undertale comic sees the light of day, let alone a dub that’s this long. I know it’s usually due to drawers and animators either quitting or going on a long hiatus, or maybe the people dubbing those comics who dub many comics like Sans Comic TV, Undertale Comic TV, or Starbot Dubs lose track and move on to other comics. To me I’m glad I managed to find a long running Undertale comic with a dub channel staying consistent on it. I’m also glad that when Starbot and Calysto stopped dubbing on this specific comic I dare say felt determined enough to find this channel and also catch up by reading Zarla’s comic on DeviantArt, which I didn’t think I’d ever need to install until that point. Am I sad about Handplates ending? Yes. Am I happy that it got a proper ending? Absolutely. I genuinely gotta thank Zarla for making this comic and also Phoenix Prime for spending all that time dubbing Handplates without ending abruptly. Looking forward to Zarla continuing Defragmentation and whatever’s next for Phoenix Prime. 😊❤

Man.. it’s hard to see it all end. But I’m glad that it got a happy conclusion. This story has been a part of my life for years and as it’s been here, many more stories have joined as well. Sometimes I wish they’d last forever, but that’s not how life works. All stories end. And I’m glad I was here to see it go off on a good note

It’s like a part of my childhood finally put to rest, finished.

This was the very first comic series I followed when I became an Undertale fan, way back in 2017. I can’t express how it feels to have something you’ve followed for so long end so perfectly. No follow ups. No spin off. Just an ending. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who created, edited and dubbed this masterpiece. It makes me happy to still be an Undertale fan, even 6 years later.

It was a blast watching hand plates best series ever😂 but im sad it ended

Y'know, I remember when this series began 6 years ago. I was very young. It was so well written and all the fleshed-out characters such as sans (see what I did there) were made and voiced masterfully. I am sad that this series has come to an end, but atleast we can hold on to the fact that when one story ends another begins. On a personal note, I would like to say that I am glad and somewhat proud to have been here through the whole ride. It was an honor. I was there at the beginning, and I am now here at the end. Goodbye to the wonderful masterpiece that was and forever will be, Handplates.

This comic dub has been going on for around the time I was but a kid, but here I am now as a teenager ready to become an adult in but 2 years, it's been a crazy ride filled with many emotions, funny enough I didn't even know anything about undertale back then when I started this series...Nothing about sans, papyrus, gaster, and all of these wonderful characters. I can say without a doubt it's opened my eyes to writing and undertale's endless abyss of new fan made stories to read and tell. But none will top the one that ended here today. Thank you, all of you. You've made a huge impact on my life with Handplates inspiring me to go on an pursue writing and to create a story of my own. It's been a pleasure growing older with this story, I will treasure it and the now 8 years (I believe) of the comic's release. May you go on to tell and write what your heart desires, or go on to follow new things that come with you in life. Thank you Zarla, and everyone else who helped and had any part in this wonderful tale.

wait after so many year this comic dub is ending ,I remember watching this when I was little, time flies so fast, (I'm still very happy to have had the chance to discover it and to have spent a great night watching it, thanks to the creator and voice actor, you made my childhood)

Well here we are. The end is upon us. This was one of the later AUs I've watched, across three different channels, and man am I glad I have. Jeez, the music cutting in at 4:35 nearly gave me a heart attack!

Aw… I’m sad that it’s over, but the journey was amazing and I loved the ending. *sigh…* Time to binge watch this entire series again!

When I was 10 (2017), I think I was looking at comic dub comps , but I came across HandPlates. I didn't watch it before, so i decided to check it out, and I immediately fell in love. It drew me in like a black hole. I watched every episode. It was my safe space, I had many issues at "home" wherever that was/is. so, in a sense, it feels like I can relate to HandPlates. I couldn't even explain how I felt watching this. It was Bone-Chilling (hehe) and suspenseful to watch, it made me feel like I was there. From the lab all the way to the world above and even in the void. I never could ask for anything better, I never liked watching movies shows or even sometimes KZread but every episode I would watch. I have learned many valuable things watching HandPlates. Thank you for the amazing memories, I leave here with acceptance and determination. Goodbye everyone ❤

Hands down one of the best AUs this whole story has set itself as a part of my early teens and now that I am turning 21 I am glad to see it come to a close, while some wish for their story too infinitely resume but that would eliminate the purpose of a story. Every story has a beginning and end regardless of length. Thank you for giving us this story

This is by far one of the best comics ever written. I discovered it so many years ago when it wasn’t finished. Occasionally coming back to see if it was. Brilliant voice acting. It’s all so perfect

An amazing ending for an amazing series. I started reading these a year ago and was disappointed that it was a cliffhanger. I am glad that there is finally an end, and a beautiful one at that.

Finally someone understood that the player is the one who also did pacifist also mostly player isn’t some devil in control it’s just that player wants to see what might be the worst and best outcomes and then the player would either continue or just leave and I like how this comic put the player heck I find it weird people want a villain in undertale while no one is actually evil in undertale

I'm late, but seeing this series finally end is such a bittersweet, yet a rewarding feeling. I'm so happy i was here to witness this comic and the comic dub coming to life. Thank you everyone. I'm glad to see this journey coming to its end rather than falling it off and never getting finished.

Handplates holds a very, very special place in my heart. Handplates, alongside other Undertale comics like Flowey Is Not A Good Life Coach for example, have a strong storytelling of trauma and ptsd, which makes these comics especially important to me since I can relate very much with the characters, having been in a abusive relationship before. I've been on this oh-so-long ride of tears, resonation, happiness, resemblance, more tears, but also a hell lot of waiting, for years now. I still can't believe how fast time has flown by. (I did not mind waiting one bit, since the end result was more than I could ever ask for.) I did originally come by Zarla's comic from Starbot Dubs, but I got sad by the fact that they dropped the series, not continuing all the way to the end. Skip forward a few years, and by chance, (KZread recommendations) I found this amazing channel continuing with the comic. I had completely forgotten that the comic even existed, so I really can't describe just how happy I was. And when it comes to Undertale comics, dubbing is an very important factor for me. It makes the characters feel more alive, in my opinion, so I finally found hope again. I am forever grateful for what you guys have accomplished, you all are astounding and greatly talented. I hope you guys get much more attention for your works (Because you certainly deserve it!!) from now on, and continuing forward. Thank you!!! (( ※ I apologize for my bad English, I'm not native. dude i just finished rewatching this and OMG so many memories. this was my all-time favourite episode just because of the ending with the rain and gaster because there is this one sub-comic from zarla too where gaster describes that his favourite thing back up on the surface was the rain to the skelebros and THIS JUST GOE SHAND-IN-HAND WITH THAT in my opinion it shows that gaster has come to accept everything that has happened and is truly happy for where he is now despite having a long long way to go still. Handplates 4ever fam and u guys worked so hard job well done

These 6 years really flew by. This story was a major factor in why I want to create my own stories. What a wonderful ending.

That was a little bit of a cliifhanger with the drop of rain hitting the flower and making it yellow where the drop hit, but...aside from that, that was a good way to end everything. wow i cant believe its ending hand plates has kept me entertained for so many years when i was bored always coming up with theory's on gaster and such when it was 1-s and 2p in there cells always watching them and looking for any little detail that may have been there i wana say thank you for what like 5-6 years of entertainment for me i cant thank you enough on how much this has like really impacted me i loved undertale and i loved handplates they will always be a good comic dub i remember watching hand plates for the first time and just falling in love thank you for everything

Now that I'm back from my vacation, I could finally watch this BEAUTIFUL final episode. Like usual, you and your co-dubbers made an amazing job for this finale. The voices and emotions were spot on, and I like some editing visual effects you did, along with the music and sounds. You can be sure that whenever nostalgia hits, I will come back and rewatch the entire series from episode one all over again. I'm happy we got to become friends. And while many things have changed since the day I discovered your comic dubs and we made acquaitance... it's still us. :) And may we never forget any of this thanks to this series. And I know I've told you many times before, you are the best voice for Handplates!Gaster, it's like you were born to voice him, or he was made to have your voice. Besides your astonoshing talent to pass your voice for a male one, you captured his personality just perfectly. I'm happy you carried this project til the end, and you should be super proud of it, Phoenix.

I remember finding Handplates from your videos, and since then i've watched every one down to the last. A fantastic series that will leave a hole in my heart for it's end, but a happy patch in my mind for it's beginning.

The reason that Gaster did all those horrible things was so that no one would have to take it a step further and kill someone like he had.

I only started to watch your dubs a week or so ago because the comic dubber i watched previously stopped making Handplates dubs. Your ones were awesome aswel,, so I watched yours. I don't think anyone's dubs could ever be better than yours - all of the voice actors put passion, heart, and tears into this and it was all worth it. Well done for coming along way and OG fans are thankful for you!!!!!!

I'm gonna cry but at the same time I have so many questions. Zarla gave us the best Undertale comic and after all these years I can't believe this is over. But i'm so happy the story got it's beautiful ending Thanks for giving us the full comic dub most gave up and it's really impressive especially given the quality. Thank you a million times

I first heard of handplates through starbot dubs and when they didn't upload the next season I assumed it was another au discontinued.
