Nice vid! About to put some grey rubber ones on my 43x. Did you skip the hairdryer part or just not show it? Curious if you totally skipped it and didn’t notice any difference in adhesion. Their instructions recommend using a hairdryer while pressing and repeating that process 2-3 times.

With the back strap you would NOT want to put it up high on the backstrap near the beaver tail. You want that area smooth so when you get your master grip your hand can slide up as high as possible. If it is stippled or textured your hand will obviously not slide up as high as possible. Some people do it but they really shouldn’t if they want to be the best they can be. Oh yeah great video! :)

"You don't want to touch that adhesive and get oils and such all over it..."- then immediately peels off the entire backing paper and starts fingering all over the adhesive... : / How about taking off half the backing, using the rest to position the first application area?

I have the medium beavertail back strap on my 19x and it's fine. It is held in with a different pin it's just like normal, I love having the beavertail for added piece of mind that the slide wont bite me. Oh, and the 19x imho is the best glock ever, balance, follow up shots, and trigger are awesome at least to me, great gun!

6:14 I'm wondering why you'd want to install the grips with the slide on. 1) it's so much lighter and easier to maneuver around, improved ergonomics and 2) the "the gun is unloaded and cleared" part is quite obviously handled even better - there's no barrel to worry about where you're pointing it that you address at 6:14
