Great vid. Thanks for sharing your method. I've been contemplating designing a hollow handle survival knife, and I was sort of stuck on the tang attachment. Considered welding. Or threading the tang itself. Wasn't sure of a solution. I like this! 👍

I have the Aitor Jungle king I..it is from end 1980. I believe that is one of the strongest hollow handle knives in the world..its almost 40 years.. Unbelievable strong. Nice video! I like the knive.

I am thinking about have a solid stock of stainless bored out and leaving the the one end solid and slotted for the tang. Should be the most solid construction. No multiple pieces

I had a buddy who hand ground one of these out of a single piece of steel. The entire thing was a continuous piece of steel. It took so much time he only made 1.
