Conductor Ben Palmer leads the Royal Scottish National Orchestra & Chorus in this Handel anthem for Classic FM Live with Viking. Beloved by choral connoisseurs and football fans alike, 'Zadok the Priest' was originally written for the coronation of George II, and has latterly been reworked into the theme for UEFA Champions League.

Great Rendition Superb!
I adore this track and every time I listen to it, it's like my Dad is with me again. Every time we went out for a lunchtime drink together he would play this on his stereo on the way back to work, blasting out of the car stereo. My Dad died 16 years ago yesterday but this beautiful song brings him back to me every time I listen to it. Simply amazing.
In summer 1976, SNOC toured the US in honor of the Bicentennial. Their glorious, unforgettable concert at St Bartholemew in NY, conducted by John Currie, included Zadok the Priest. A highlight? Every piece was a highlight! Ave verum corpus, Rejoice in the Lamb, Verdi's Te Deum... One of the most marvelous concerts I've ever heard.
Best performance, best conductor, best orchestra and best choir! Heard many versions, this is my favorite one.
