"sand until it hurts", oh boy did you say a mouthful. I've been subscribed for a long time and i hit the bell, I'm a bit disappointed that youtube stopped notifying me of your uploads. I recently picked up melting and sandcasting silver. The clean up takes endless hours of sanding and filing by hand. Personally I think the real art is the clean up. The last piece I casted was the master link from my motorcycle. It took an hour to melt and pour the silver and an additional 7 and a half hours of clean up and put it together. I was recording at the time when i finished putting on the little clip to hold it all together and realized then that I forgot to stamp the darn thing with my makers mark and purity 😅 Thanks for another great video. I've learned allot from watching your channel. I appreciate you🥰

Looks really cool. I think I would want a slimmer version though, maybe with just 1 gold bar offset from the center (like maybe 1 in the upper 2/3 of the ring). That could be a cool option.

So carbon fiber rings don’t need any type of finish on them? Meaning ca or resin?

This company doesn't care about their customers. I have had possibly the worst experience that I have ever had with any company in my lifetime. I received my ring and it looked like it was made by a child. The craftsmen are outsourced, and obviously don't care about their work or product. I sent my custom ring back and have been waiting another 2 months for the replacement. Every time I even try to talk to "customer service" I am met with BS emails and lies. I've been told that my replacement would ship out "next week" like four weeks in a row now.

Meh, would have been cooler with a wood element, and a metal (gold, or titanium etc.) on the inside of the ring...

Does your team just give zero f's about efficiently using time, tools and materials? If there is a reason it would be interesting to hear why you do it that way

  • @PatrickAdairDesigns

It about making an interesting process for the video not necessarily being 100% efficient. In our actually productions runs there will be much less waste and will be using more tools to make the process faster and more efficient. the videos are just for fun man.

@@PatrickAdairDesigns that's what I kind of suspected. In my opinion it would be more interesting to see the typical work flow.
