On day 7 of mine in the same spot. It looked so sick the first couple of days but it looks so faded now and like I’ll need a touch up. Looks like yours did the same though and the color came back. This video really put my mind at ease, thank you.

They make cream to put on them to moisturize them and make it heal a lil faster some tattoo artist recommended using tattoo creams to keep it moisturized

Ur a champ for not using any tattoo product, just dry healing. I'm on day 3 of my hand blasted and it's starting to get itchy. I did a lil neck tat at the same time and it's not even close to itchy so weird how diff body parts heal

He's a champ for using a method that takes 3 times longer to heal, doesn't support potential recovery and greatly increases the risk of parts fading away or falling out? :) Not quite... Saniderm + good aftercare products will heal your tattoo (superficially) in 1-2 weeks, without scabbing or excessive flaking.

My artist told me not to get it wet for very long at all . Wet it when you wash it otherwise keep it out of water or it will fade and slow the healing process

Yeah I kept it out of water as much as I could. I only wet it with running water when it began to feel itchy just to moisturize it. But no need to worry, I do not keep it wet for a very long time. Maybe for like more or less 30 seconds. Thank you so much.

Im dry healing my hand tattoo (big black cog) and working (in Healthcare). I got it Wednesday and its Saturday. Still a bit swollen and dry af so painful to move... its been my only painful tattoo experience 😂😂😂😂 but it took a half hour so i knew it would take a hot minute to heal.

just got mine done yesterday 👍I use cocoa butter from Palmers it's amazing for helping the healing, only thing is how swollen my hand went 😂

That turned out good, I have a 14 day old tattoo in the same place but some small parts in the side are already faded I'm planning to have a touch up once it's fully healed and I will try your method 😁

@@Sebastian-ee6sv mine is still looking good,some little parts in the side faded due to me peeling it a little early when I first got it. My suggestion is don't leave it too long in water and just dab with tissue or towel.

No worries, its totally fine when scabs came off naturally. Allow it to fully healed as it changes from time to time during the healing process. Sorry if I replied kinda late, and I am pretty sure that its completely healed by now. May I ask if your tattoo fade or did it recover to your satisfaction of boldness?

I get mine in November and I know my skin can go quite dry in the winter so I’ll be sat at the sink all day!😄No but seriously thank you for the tips mate, really helpful! :)

hey how did ur hand tat go? i got mine about 2-3 weeks ago and its really faded around my knuckles n my finger tat is basically gone like the wind dissapeared lol but its ok it was just a heart shaped arrow on my finger anyways

Hello 😊 That's true, i still used Alcohol/Sanitizer but I was too careful not to include the tattoed area. It only got wet with clean running water for about 4 weeks. GOOD THING as well is that i'm staying at home during the healing process so i don't need to move a lot. ☺️

I run it for about a minute just to keep it moisturized and I'm doing this when it feel itchy only. However when taking a bath the tattoo got wet for more than 10 minutes.

Just got a tattoo like a week and a half ago and trying this method out and it’s peeling but is looking faded is it normal it’s not fully healed though yet

With my tattoos, there are a lot of moment during the healing process where I felt that my tattoos are lighter that is because it changes from time to time. Also it always depend what type of tattoos you got as well as the style of the artist of how he/she did it. Anyway, I am sure its fully healed by now as I replied this experience of mine to you. May I ask, hows your tattoo right now?

I’m a scaffolder and I’m always using my hands I’m planning on getting all my fingers done and my hand also What would you recommend using to keep the dirt off it while it’s healing

That must be difficult as you will be using your hand a lot. For me, I recommend taking a vacation leave from work just to ensure that your tattoos will heal properly. If not, and if you really love to get your hand tatted then go for it. With that, you can wear a sanitized gloves but you also have to make sure that your hands will breath. However, there is a chance that your tattoos will fade and that's fine. Most tattoo artist will do a free retouch of the tattoos they do it. ☺

I just did my Mandala hand tattoo 5 days ago and still on the healing process. Other people say its like a gross black dry skin and doesnt look like a tattoo. I hope healing process will take soon so I wont receive any discrimination.

That's totally fine, mandala tattoos are normally dark and bold. Do not mind people who try to discriminate it, we all have opinions and I am sure it'll heal perfectly.

If its still within the healing process, there is a probability that it'll be lighter. However, if you wanted to make it darker try reaching out the artist that tattooed you if you can get a free retouch. Artist normally give it for free to the tattoos they did or they made.

Did your skin on the tattoo look wrinkly when you put your hand normal in the healing process when peeling?

Did you feel like the sharpness in the peice faded when all the skin flaked off like paint chips? I'm on my 4th day of healing and it's starting to peel and it saddens me 😔 it looked so fresh now it needs touch ups 😆 atleast those are free 🤷🏽‍♂️ I was worried then when I seen your hand cracking yet turning out ok.... Hi there,I'm glad that you're planning to get one too. For me, it'll depend on your job. If you will be using your hand a lot I do not recommend getting it yet. But if you can file a day off leave from your work for about 2 weeks that'll do.

Rub sand on it every day before work, soon as you get out of the shower, if you can hack it add a bit of salt.

Hi @@griw8624 , i never tried using any products and thats because i'm worried that it'll fade out. Also i'm not professional when it comes to tattoo but base on my experience, it matters where you place your tattoo on your skin. Moreover, when it heals allow the flakes to fall by itself naturally and be very careful not to scratch it when it feel itchy. Sometimes tattoos will fade when the peeling is being forced or accidentally being peeled especially when you're asleep. No worries, some fade tattoo looks good at some point but if you're into bold and dark tattoos like me-try not to use any products and wash it with clean running water only the next time you get a new tattoo soon. GriW yeah idk how much I like Hustle Butter tbh its such a thick consistency it seems kinda rough on new tattoos. I get my hand finished today actually and I’m just gonna stick to A+D for the first week or two then use Hustle Butter after maybe idek ima ask my artist his opinion too ill lyk man 👊🏽

Yes thats what i did, but i'm not sure if it works for everyone. One thing is for sure, it worked pretty well on me. Just make it wet with running water when the tattoo is dry and it feel itchy. 😊😊😊

Hi Tasha 😊 No, i didn't put lotion or any products on my hand tattoo during the healing process. When it felt itchy I only wash it with running water thoroughly and to keep it moisturized as well.

If you mean exercise/workout well, normally artist will always recommend working out on the 3rd or 4th week from the day you got your tattoos.

Happy to hear that you got one. I'm not an expert but with all my tattoos, I practice the natural healing where I do not use any products during the healing process and only moisturize it with running water when it feel itchy/dry. I also do my best not to use my hand for 2 weeks. So far my tattoos are preserve as I wanted.

For me, yes. Kasi sa sitwasyon ko, hinuhugasan ko lang siya pag masyado ng dry at makati. Most probably, nababasa ko siya 2-3 times a day.

Should've moisturised instead of using the dry heal method, healing is so much faster

Hi Blaine, the pain is subjective. But as for me it would be 6/10 while 8/10 with "Bear Ears" area. - Also, its tolerable 😊🙂

I think it'll vary from the type of skin you have. For my situation, i'm already used and happy with my timeframe.
