In this week's video I make a hand plane till. Now that I have a place to store my planes I am one step closer to fully moving it to my new shop. The plane rack is made from home center pine and some scrap plywood with a milk paint and oil-varnish finish. Flat head brass screws were used to make it easy to reconfigure if my tool set ever changes.

I’ve always liked the contrast of paint and natural wood. Nice project you made there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🪚

That shellac over pitch pockets trick is a gem. Have you had success with it? Killer till, dude. :)

It seems to have worked. I haven't noticed any bleeding in the paint.

Is that HMWV plastic on the side of your low angle jointer?😊

It's HDPE so I can use the plane on its side.

Ok that’s what I thought. Looks like it’s done well.
