FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie

@@rrhopewell kzread.info/dash/bejne/dqajx857YtjdqJc.html the unspun yarn (roving) is very fragile and will quickly deteriorate, catches all the hair and stuff lying around, and the roving can be quite expansive. Someone also reported that trying to wash it in the washing machine broke the machine because of all the loose hair, and even if it doesn't break the machine, this type of unspun wool felts very easily

Thanks. I didn’t know all that. Plus i looked at the price and it was way to expensive. I have 10 grandkids. 4 of them are 15 to 25 yrs of age so it would cost a fortune. Can you suggest a cheaper alternative that is thick. It don’t have to be that thick but something close.
This is the most detailed and explained video I have found for making these. THANK YOU! Everyone just flies through and doesn’t explain what or why they’re doing it. Ugh! I’m so glad I found this! 👌🏻
Oh my goodness thank you!!!! I've looked at so many hand crotchet videos and haven't found one that goes into so much detail as you do. You really make it easier to see what you're actually doing but go at a steady easy pace to where one can actually follow.

Wow, I have never seen this yarn worked into anything before. Just the final piece don't in pictures. I think you did an excellent job of showing me how it is used. It looks so wonderful and so fluffy. Thank you for making this tutorial. Very well done. I must say, love the color you used here as well. Beautiful!
This just popped up on my notifications. I had just opened up my computer to search KZread for my next project and this is what i was looking for...you have been reading my mind Bella!!!
LOVE THIS! Just started my first crochet blanket for beginners! This is definitely on the project cards 😍 thank you!
I'm going to try and make one for my daughter, this is such a adorable and cute project that would make a really good play blanket for her. I'm 22 weeks haha, also one for a throw blanket for our living room furniture, I didn't know this was a thing until now I'm excited!!

Beautiful! Looks nice on your bed too. You are a good teacher as well, very clear in your directions. I would love to try this out, but not with that yarn, it looks intimidating to me but so beautiful.
Thank you so much for such good instructions and visual on what you are doing in the video! Really appreciate it :)
This was so so so so much easier than a lot of other videos I watched! Thanks!
Looks lovely you make it look so easy!
This is fantastic! I have yarn that I bought on sale but it’s an awkward size. Not thick enough for an arm knit blanket and not thin enough for any of my crochet hooks so this is perfect!!!!!! Such an easy video to follow as well!

@@samanthahillier4691 I don't think she was meaning to be rude. The money and materials will be sadly wasted since this is not yarn and has no structure. It will quickly get gross and disintegrate :( I too get a little upset at all the people being misled to think otherwise.
Omg!!!!! I love this color.
So I've been watching a ton of these vids, I dropped quite a bit of money on some very nice chunky yarn and have found myself not staring due to fear of screwing it up! I found your vid today and can say I'm going to start my blanket now as I feel very comfortable doing it along with this great educational vid! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us how to do this craft, I appreciate it immensely and your instructions are crystal clear! Thanks again, I've found my new favorite channel!!🤗

Beautiful stitch. But roving is so expensive, it's best to just arm knit for a bigger blanket vs. crocheting.

Thank you for your instructions. Very helpful. I just bought some unspun yarn and a set on 25mm knitting needles to experiment with. Loads of fun. I'm going to undo it and us my giant crochet hook on it too before buying more yarn. It is quite expensive for my budget too. But I enjoy it. I have to find my looms... 😀 i think this type yarn would make killer home decor items too.👍

This video is great for a non-crafty person like me! I was wondering how I would add in another skein of yarn if I ran out? Do I weave it in similar to how you weaved in the remaining yarn at the end? Or tie a knot?
Thanks for the detailed video! About how long does it take to make something like this?

I bought a ton of skeins of beautiful size 6 chunky roving yarn that I found at the dollar store, of all places, for $1.25 a skein. 😮 it actually looks exactly like the one you are using in this video, the same color and texture. But I was at a loss at how to use it all. I tried my favorite stitch, the hdc and I tried single stitch and they were both too bulky. I didn’t even think of slip stitching! And the slip stitch has such a nice look camel stitch/knit look to it! Thank you for this video. 👍

Hi, I just ordered chunky yarn and wanted to watch this video a couple of times so that I could get the learn of things. I only have one question though, how much yyarn did you use for thins blanket and if anyone knows can they share with me please. Well done, I love the blanket.

Bellla thx thx thx really thx from. My heart ♥ I well try to make it wish you all the best 😍 ❤️
Agreed. This type of yarn is too much! It’s beautiful and a little complicated but it took me 3 spools of yarn and they were $20 each it wasn’t enough to make a twin blanket…so if ANYONE wishes to donate me some of that yarn-like 8 spools of ANY COLOR that would be a blessing like u wouldn’t know!
Thank you for this video!!! I do have a question - I was following along and got to row 4 and got stuck lol so for row 4 would I repeat what I did for row 2? Thank you for the video!!!!!!
