Although I agree hand blending does give you more control and an image with more depth but for most Real Estate Photographers worldwide they are doing smaller listings where the images are uploaded to a website with poor resolution so it just makes sense to do the HDR edit and spend some time editing that. I don't think I have come across an agent or customer in the UK that could tell the difference if I showed them the identical images edited differently. Thanks for the information some tips in here I will use for my personal work and keep up the content

Good video. I think i will stick to lr hdr merge. I feel like it's fastest and you can still use masking and darken the sky a little extra with masks etc.

Your videos are great. With so much to learn about the industry, I have my hand-blending done over sees for .75 to 1.00 per shot. I would love to be able some day to be able to at least get myself out of a bind by having these skills. I'm close, I have been doing 5 brackets and 1-2 flash changing flash power on the AD200. Keep the vids coming sir.

Hey! great video, definitely I will try manual blending more often. But, one question, don't you think you abandoned the LR HDR editing a little early and you could have done a little bit more editing to get closer results to the manual blended version? Could you have gotten those contrast and saturations using local adjustments the same way you masked some parts on the PS blended one? Thanks! great channel, I'm watching a lot of videos.

Great video. Have you mixed lightroom blend with one or 2 hdr blends back in PS? Like a hybrid of this method? Would that speed things up a bit?

Hey Mike, great video. Have learned a lot from what you are offering. Since you are doing such an awesome job with sharing these edits, how about a video where you are using Darken mode in photoshop to pull a window. Going to start practicing using an ambient shot, flash shot, and over exposed window shot to pull the window. I have not tried it yet. Would like to see you walk us through that. Thanks, keep up the good videos.

Great video! I'm going to have to practice the hand blending as there is a noticeable difference between the two! How much does pricing differ if you dont' mind me asking between the two type of edits?

Jonathan Lopez thanks! I typically do this type of editing when I’m doing ambient/flash blending by hand of the interior photos so it’s a different type of shoot altogether than a HDR shoot. Pricing varies between the two different types of shoots based on a number of factors like size of home etc

Excellent illustration of how to get a more natural looking image. Much richer look. Looking at your HDR, I'm thinking that maybe we should avoid lightening up the shadows too much, so as to avoid the "HDR Look".
