i first saw this group HANABIE the video , iwatched it like 30 times cant get enough of this song. Then i went and watch all the reaction people so i have seen this a lot and still enjoy it happy to see your faces when the video started its just like everyone else on you tube its a awesome thing c-ya

Well this made by day. Loved the look on Charlene's WTH face. Hanabie are amazing. All videos mix a lot of genres. One of my faves of the Japanese scene. So brutally cute yet talented.

That's the thing, especially in Japan, they really have something extreme for every subject area, they just pull it off, no matter how crazy it is, just great. Great reaction

I also discovered this band like just 1 month ago, but they have shooter to one of my all time favs! Have been listening to their album non stop since then. Everything you said on the video I fully agree with! One to keep a close eye they are brilliant 99% written by the guitarist Matsuri with Yukina sharing the lyrics and vocals with Matsuri bass Hettsu and drums now Sae .If you want to see them in action do the Ado cover next and then there other 2 MV from a bit back .They have a kick ass album out as well girls reform Manifest

Riewa Matching Generation is great song by them and the drums are bonkers

The music scene in Japan has always been ultra competitive to the point that having a look, having a vibe, having a gimmick in order to stand out is almost necessary just to get interest or attention. This video is so indicative of what can encompass the thinking and inventiveness that comes from this need to be original. Kawaii metal, with hardcore beats and sound, multiple rhythm changes, JPOP interlude, JROCK segment with the second vocalist, then ending with rap. No wonder one is thrown for a loop not understanding what you're hearing and seeing but loving every crazy, wonderful note in the song and eyes just taking in the imaginative, out of this world, technical wizardry, the weirdness of Japanese culture and end up wanting more than the three minutes you just witnessed, mouth gaping, lost for words and immediately hitting replay.

I, for one, would like to welcome our new Harajukucore overlords. Their entire album, "Girls Reform Manifest" is fantastic start-to-finish...no filler. I also want to second your comments on Matsuri's guitar playing. It's brilliant. She's not trying for "shreddy" stuff, just laying down absolutely masterful metalcore riffage, played with a spot-on tone. This track is drop-D rhythm perfection.

Small correction it's a full length album. Can be confused with an EP since it's only 32 minutes long compared to Lovebites most recent EP of 28 minutes. 🤣

​@@hiawatha.g I wouldn't mind a 4.5 minute long Hanabie song. Would give Matsuri plenty of time to flex her muscles. Envy has that little bit of solo work but I want something a bit longer. Since both Midori and Matsuri are with ESP now maybe they could get together and trade some knowledge.

My favorite reaction song on KZread!! It gets some of the best reactions of any song I have seen. A really fun song. They have other great songs also, maybe try Reiwa matching generation by Hanabie.

I'll never look at a piece of cake or donut the same way again, I think sweets scare me now...

I don't know why this band makes me think of Necronomidol - must be something to do with a sense of darkness in those growls. Anyway, you may want to check out "Strange Aeons" by Necronomidol, and turn on the subtitles when you do. Harmony instead of growls, but darkness has never been more beautiful :)

6:35 Steve Harris would like to have words. And one of things I love about another Japanese Metal Band Mary's Blood is that I can hear the bassline on a lot of the tracks. No one wants a repeat of ...And Justice For All.

These girls are younger than me and formed in 2015 when they were at school. They really rock hard.......in a great way. My favourite song of theirs is Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now.

I’m not sure Hettsu would consider being slightly transparent as a compliment. lol Check out their ADO cover to see her bring it up close. Their live stuff that I have seen is small club, cell phone, distorted to hell, but it looks like they “bring it” by the truck load. They released an album in January - “Girl’s Reform Manifest”’ which is still the best CD I have bought this year. It was produced by Crystal Lake’s drummer and he may have inspired them to stay heavy. I see Hanabie (Han-ah-bee-ay) as life imitating art where BABYMETAL were the art. Hanabie came about from an after school activities club as a Maximum the Hormone cover group. Now they are on the bleeding edge of girl’s J-Metal. I’m a big Nemophila fan and their upcoming album could eclipse Hanabie’s, but it will have to be every bit as good as it ought to be to win.

I just sing this song because I love sweets！HaHaHaｰ!

花冷え rules! Sae is their new/permanent drummer and she’s awesome. Hettsu holds it together on bass. Yukina is an amazing front person who grabs your attention with her amazing growls and rapping, but I have grown quite fond of of guitarist/vocalist Matsuri’s unique voice. Other great videos: REIWA Matchjng Generation (an urban/metalcore horror movie soundtrack), and their awesome metal cover of Odo (Dance!), the amazing pop song by Ado. There were three singers in this song. Yukina: growls and the girl in a hat and also strawberry hat. She was rapping with herself! Matsuri: guitar and vocals, blue hair. I have actually heard her singing in a deep voice. That was VERY good! Hattsu: base, hair slightly colored purple. Then we, of course, have the drummer Sae: drums, she almost never sings. She can though.
