Hamstrings Lengthening the Feldenkrais® Way

The flexibility of hamstrings muscles is essential for health and function. Many lower back, hip, knee, foot and ankle pain troubles are linked to short hamstring muscles.
The following practice is adapted from the Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson called "Hamstrings Lengthening."
Use a belt or yoga strap to reduce excessive posterior pelvic tilts or lumbar flexion. Please remember to avoid movements that cause pain or discomfort!

    WOW!! At the beginning of the lesson, both of my feet were on my yoga mat. By the end of the lesson, both heels and feet were off the mat on the floor! I used Feldenkrais and Somatics to heal myself from Fibromyalgia, CFS and trauma in 2018. I would love to train and bring it to Ireland as it is so much needed; financial investment is an obstacle as so expensive. One day hopefully
