Guys! Let me just say.... I have a Robo Dwarf named Oliver. When I first got him, I was uneducated and put him in a little Kaytee cage. I just recently moved him into a bin cage and there is a complete change in him! I can tell that he isn’t as stressed as before. He wasn’t showing the signs of being stressed in his old cage, so I couldn’t tell until I moved him out of it. I have been trying for so long to tame him and I just couldn’t do it... well, since I moved him into the bin, he is actually letting me hold him and pet him! He doesn’t try to run out of my hands anymore. He still has LOTS of work to do when it comes to taming, but I do believe he is finally making some progress because he has more room and more toys!! I know this video has nothing to do with cages but I just wanted to share some good news!❤️

I had a cat that did the exact same. I seeked a behavior expert and he said that cats and dogs do this when their anxiety level increases. Mostly due to a change to their environment. New person, new pet, new smell, ect. The reason they target beds in particular is because its a place that most of our "smell" is deposited and therfore comfortes them and protects them.

What treats do you use? We have yeti and I bath tame him he is ok climbing around on my back but I cannot pick him up yet. He’s like a grasshopper. I have treats and seeds but the treats are not really healthy (tiny friends )

You really don't have to worry about how you look without makeup. You just look like a normal, naturally pretty person. You don't have to feel like you need makeup to be presentable to the world, even if maybe societal ideals make you feel like you do. Love you lots, and Beavis too!

The most common reason for cats to have inappropriate urination, meaning outside the box, it is medical until otherwise proven by your vet. Male cats have an unusually small urethra and almost anything can cause obstruction or a blockage. Stress is usually the main cause; stress will usually cause their urethra to flare and become swollen. Most often cats will urinate outside the box because they associate the pain of urinating with their litter box. I'd recommend taking Max to the vet to rule out this probable UTI and only then would I turn to behavioral resolutions like an additional litter box. Worst case scenario is he is starting to develop crystals in his urine, but I'll cross my fingers for a problem with an easier fix. I worked as a vet tech with a vet who specializes is felines so I hope this is helpful for you and Mr. Max :)

I got my 3rd hamster after my previous one past away almost a year ago. This new hamster I have had now since September and still have not tamed him. I haven't even picked him up. He is extremely shy. He comes out of his hide when I call his name to give him treats. He will take treats from my hands and except pets but that is about it. He seems the happiest in his detoft. Bonding has been limited since he doesnt get up most nights until 12 30 or 1 am. Hopefully you and I can get our hamsters bonded soon. Someone mentioned your cat may have a UTI. I was thinking the same thing. I had a cat who had one in the past and did the same thing. My vet says Male cats can be prone to getting them.

Hi, amazing video but I need help taking my dwarf hamster. So he takes food from my finger like when u put it in front of him but when u put it on my hand so he can go to it he bites me every time I try. And I have had him for about 2 weeks and a half but he Dosent trust me, he takes food from my fingers and lets me pet him sometime but he bites me, so I don’t know what to do. My hamster won’t eat, I’ve had her for 3 days and she won’t eat, drink, or run on her wheel she is a Syrian and she has a 12 inch wheel a 90 gallon bin cage, and lots of hides and chews, she’s very scared, whenever I enter the room she hides and she refuses to come out from hiding, I don’t touch her because she’s VERY scared of me and I feel really bad, I give her new food every day even though she won’t eat, any suggestions on what I should do

You should try those plugins you can get on Amazon that are deterrent for cats peeing. Apparently they work really well.

Toxic Gamer, you’re probably going too fast for him... most rodents take patience! Don’t give up, just sit by the cage (if you don’t already) and talk and give treats. If you’re a still a student, I suggest doing your homework or reading by the cage and relaxing nearby. I know sometimes we want to see fast results and we move to quickly. If your hamster is willing to climb into a box to be moved to the bathtub or somewhere you know he can’t get out, then try that, but don’t make him. Some hamsters are just skittish at first and take more time to warm up to you. The best advice I have is to consider what it may be like for him. Imagine you’re tiny and some giant hand scoops you up... if you think of it that way, his behavior should make sense. If you still find your hamster is nippy or drawing blood, I would look into the cage you’re keeping him in and the area it’s in (is it a stressful part of the house, is the cage large enough, etc.)

I had the same problem. Cats get really stressed out when they move to a new house. The thing we did was closing the door to the room and not letting him in!

I don’t recommend have the food in there too long because I had done the exact same thing and since it’s not air tight bugs started to grow.thats what happened to me but feel free on what to do👍🏻😄

I had that happen with my cat one time (peeing outside the litterbox ) I took him to the vet and he had a urinary tract infection.

You might want to take Max to the vet. If the litter box thing doesn’t work. Maybe he has a bladder issue.

@@Hammylux my dog thats 7 years old and has always been trained to go outside to pee, started peeing on all rugs and beds. we took him to the vet and hes diabetic which causes him to drink a lot of water and therefor pee immediately wherever he is! not sure if its the same for cats but that could be the issue!

I would definitely take Max to the vet. A drastic change like that is normally caused by a medical issue (UTI, bladder infection, etc).

Max probably has a UTI. My cat had one just before Christmas:( I would get him checked out and change his food to a special food for Urinary issues. I hope you find out what’s wrong! ❤️
