MOCHI'S PLATFORM WAS SADLY A FAIL! Everything was working fine but I sadly was just not happy with it in the end so I decided to take it out of her cage and figure something else out in the meantime :) You will see that towards the end of the video:) Also please let me know your opinions on if I should move all the babes in the other room /area! It would really help me out on making a decision! Anyway, I hope you all will enjoy the video today it was fun giving her new toys to play with and some fresh new bedding! I'm also a nervous hamster mommy, I too would have taken it out. I'm always worried my girls are gonna fall off something! The worst part of hamster cage cleaning is cleaning up after! PS: I love the pink in your hair!

Wonderful video! Ooh I love your new lights, they are amazing and the lighting in this video was perfect! Haha aww Luna is such a cute cat! I think making a hamster area in your art room is an awesome idea! I really hope it works out for you! It was really fun watching you clean out Mochi's cage, I do love time-lapses! Haha it was funny watching you putting down the liners, I thought you did a good job! Okay I was amazed when I saw the heap of bedding in the cage and I was thinking is that gonna fill the cage? But then as you were spreading it out and it just instantly expanded, I was actually mind blown! :O That was pretty cool to watch :D I always find putting fresh bedding into a cage really pleasurable for some reason haha. Lol not gonna lie, when you started adding the yellow, it reminded me of egg fried rice ;D Started making me hungry, haha never thought bedding would make me hungry lol! The set up at the end was fantastic, so much to adventure in, Mochi is one lucky ham! Awh I'm sorry the platform didn't work out but it was still lovely to see it set up anyway :) I also think it was a very sensible decision not wanting to risk anything and it only makes you even more of a caring owner! Aww she is so cute and she looks really happy in that cage! Hugs! :)

I love when you peel the plastic off the bedding and you just get that square piece of bedding you get to run your fingers through it feels so good

I love how you care so much about your hamster. Everyone should learn from you. You should know I did. I love my hamster and You always help me provide the right care. If you don't feel safe with the platform, it's okay because you can always make a smaller one. Remember don't change and stay hamsterific! Ps. I made a platform out of popsicle sticks... it worked awesome, my hamster loves it! I recommend marking one out of popsicle sticks or a cardboard box, both work amazing👍🏻🐹

woow when i saw you taking out the bedding from kaytee clean and cozy.. i thought "thats not enough" and you just fluffed it up soo much.. its amazing how it expanded to fill the cage with enough substrate.. i really wish we will have kaytee clean and cozy some time in the future in europe.. i love the white bedding.. it just makes it look so clean

Could you just shave some length off the legs of the platform a bit? No sense making a complete new one if you could just shave some length off. That's actually a great platform besides the hight, I made one for Bubbles but threw it out after he passed. I've been debating making one for Zoom ever since. I just have to be really careful and make it really short because she's a robo and because she has such slippery feet!! 😂

I think that the hamster room/area sounds perfect! You could saw down the legs of the platform to make it smaller, I hope Mochi enjoys the new cage set up! xox

Your excitement when you put that contact paper on the bottom of the cage 😂😂so funny. I'm sad that the platform didn't work... maybe take the legs and saw both of them in half so you have four shorter stumps. Them put one at either end of the platform and one or two in the middle as I noticed that it was kinda slouching in the middle 😋 the contact paper thing is such a great Idea tho!!! Doing it in my guinea pigs hutch 😱😱👌

You should defo make that into a hamster/pet room! It would be so lovely 😜 lovely cage, mochi is sooo cute haha! 💙

Well, your platform wasn't a fail, but if it'll give you any confidence, maybe put popsicle stick fence around the border? It's honestly a real good platform. I've made a few & although, I hate it when it happens, my hammies just love to take the shortcut way down & actually jump from the top, I'm just glad there's either other things around it where they'll either climb on top of those things & get down or that I've put extra bedding so it could possibly soften the landing. Yea, my hammies are crazy LOL Turning that one room into a pet room would definitely be great. Rearranging it would probably be big enough for your art stuff & pet stuff?.. Well, have a great day!

I made a second level out of popsicle sticks, * I'm not good at all with popsicle stick creations- but this was super easy and actually worked! I can message you a picture if you want and tell you how I did it! :) Ooooh! You should totally do the hamster room! You can make an area with seats for your to sit, while you make talking videos! :D The yellow and white looks so so stunning!! the platform was really good! Although yes safety comes first maybe you could add a little boundary around the edge so she can't fall off??! And yes! You definitely should move them into the other room as then you would have an area for the hamsters that you can call the hamsters area and you could also make a filming place in there as well so I think you should move them obviously it's your decision but I think you should move them! ❤️ also LOVING YOUR HAIR! Since your room since seems to be the hub of activity for all of your kids and yourself maybe moving the hams to a little hammy corner wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. But I think you already talked yourself into doing it it's just the work that you've got to get done to clean up that area huh? Pain in the butt! Only one question do you work on your art works late at night and would you be giving up doing art in favor of hammy time and would that be a big deal? I'm sure you've thought of this😁🐹

Totally weird but the white and yellow bedding made me think of fried rice the whole time I was watching, hahah!
