Regardless of how many times I listen to this track, in combination with the video, I am brought to a standstill. In that forced humility, my thoughts become preoccupied, like reflections of fleeting moments as though vapors in the wind.

When nostalgia becomes like a warm blanket on a cold day, when melancholic becomes a happy moment, when tears is with happiness, one finds him or herself listening to this. Films and songs usually dictates the narrative. this doesn't. It lets you feel and think what you need to and extend it to long after. Now that is just pure and ageless. Thank you Hammock

I could not have said it better

Hammock has been an important part of my life for some time now. I remember listening to this song specifically many times when my wife and I were only dating (both in high school at the time). When she was moving out of state with her family, I remember listening to Take a Drink From My Hands as I watched the car disappear on the highway. When my childhood cat, "Mama Kitty", was passing away after a long and happy life, my brother and I played Mono No Aware for her while we held her. I wake up this morning to a KZread notification for this video and I'm listening to it in the kitchen crying. Tonight my wife and I are celebrating four years of marriage and my cat is relaxing in Heaven. Thank you for your music.

This clip has a lot of "references"(?) Of other clips as "Cold Front","No Mono Aware", Sinking Inside Yourself", "Tape Recorder". Congrats Hammock, you got me crying now

It seems that it's unused/reused footage from those music videos, it doesn't seem to be coherent enough on its own to be a standalone music video. I still love that they used the same actress for all of them, she's done an amazing job!

Words can't describe how Hammock's music makes me feel.

Raising Your Voice has been my favorite album of all time for over ten years now. That's a pretty big statement for me given the wide array of genres I listen to (it's actually meme-worthy at this point, like my friends are constantly hit with the "hey check out this obscure classic Armenian shit I just found" etc) but yeah. This album has been with me through all the highs and lows of the last decade of my life. Seeing you guys release a video for the leading track is something I never thought would happen, but I'm so very grateful that you continue to respect your roots even as you constantly release more incredible music on a continual basis. Please, never stop being the amazing band that your are. Your music has given me hope when life has felt hopeless, and was a consistent factor through all the good times as well. It's equal parts nostalgic, infinitely meaningful, and a never-ending source of inspiration for me. God bless you both.

The greatest period in my life has just come to an end with the one I loved and now I have to go back to my old house, somewhere I never wanted to go back to. I am truly grateful for every moment we had together. As someone else said, it all seems like a movie now when I look back listening to this. I am so lucky to have lived it. I don't ever want to forget a moment of it. Every moment is so precious, its so important to choose to remember the good things and not to only keep score of the bad. I wish me and my love's journey didn't have to end because of this. I would've stayed forever. Sending love to anyone who needs it right now, I have too much inside me right now going spare and have no one else to give it to. x

Fun story: 11 years ago when I met Jesus intimately, I stumbled across this ambient band and especially this song and had it playing on a loop each day for close to 5 years. This song and band is what Holy Spirit beautifully used to introduce me to instrumentals, pads, and soaking music that has so purely romanced me into greater levels of intimacy with God. It has been the ready pen of intimacy that has scribed volumes into my journals of love. And all these years later, the band decides to do a music video to it and it reignited the captivity of my soul once more. 🌬✨

Yesterday we lost our beloved & amazing cat Milo. There is nothing like the heartbreak of losing a pet whose soul you have gazed upon. He came to visit last night. I felt an electricity through my body and a press upon my chest as I layed down on the couch and I knew it was him. I am grateful for the time we had.
