I head out with the intent to go camping on an island in the middle of a loch but due to discovering restrictions plans changed. With a new location found and the hammock setup, unexpected visitors came to the secluded area where I was camping and proceeded to disturb the wildlife. Sleeping in a hammock in the sub zero temperatures made for a long freezing cold night but the morning sun warmed me back up.. It was an all-round good overnight camping trip and it was well worth the cold night to get out to do some hiking and camping in nature.
