Elegant, fast, and fuel efficient. That’s what we like to see. The current sportfish and cruising power catamarans are not ideal power cats, so Hammer Yachts designed and built a new boat that embraces high performance, elegance, and fuel efficiency - the HammerCat 35.
The HammerCat 35 is the first model in the next generation of sport fish power catamaran. Her build is strong and light through the use of epoxy and carbon fiber. We’re excited about this extraordinary new boat, so we’re highlighting the top 5 features of the Hammer Cat 35. Buckle up. She’s about to knock you off your feet.
She’s fast and fuel efficient through a modern hull design and best construction techniques. No other power catamaran offers the smooth ride of a HammerCat, even in adverse conditions. The HammerCat 35 has a Carolina (flared) bow, a double-stepped hull, a high bridge-deck, and carefully designed weight distribution.
The HammerCat 35 weighs 40% less than competitors’ vessels, which means it can use twin outboards as opposed to quads to reach the same speeds. That means this boat is double the efficiency and half the maintenance. With 2 x 350 horsepower engines, the HammerCat 35 has a range of more than 600m at 30 mph. Her top-speed is greater than 50 mph.
Hammer Yachts (builders of the HammerCat) use race-boat technology to produce extremely durable hulls using epoxy, carbon fiber, and closed-cell foam. This creates the lightest yet strongest hulls, backed up by a 7-year warranty.
Areas underdeck are filled with closed-cell foam to ensure that the HammerCat remains afloat if you hit an object while traveling. In case of an engine failure, the HammerCat 35 can plane on a single-engine and run at 20 mph, which unheard of in this size range.
Hammer Yachts builds personalized vessels focused on your needs, ideas, and suggestions. The HammerCat 35 was designed and built as the ultimate sport fish power cat, but you can also adapt it to your needs for diving, family, or runabout.
The HammerCat 35 is the next-generation power catamaran and available for sale with Denison Yachting. Contact your Denison Yacht broker to inquire about this boat.

It would destroy Haulover I’m the captain of hull #1 took boat from Fort Lauderdale to Texas this boat eats anything and everything the sea can throw your way…The gunnels are high and billing and releasing Marlin can be tricky but totally doable. Went 12 for 22 on Blue Marlin and Two white Marlin last summer. This boat fishes and fishes incredibly well we fished hard and ran long out 120+ nautical miles most trips, no problem when all the other guys were stuck at the dock. This is by far the best hull design I’ve ever seen for the size, price, fuel efficiency….. nothing compares. Period.

Probably one of the best looking cats out there. Beautiful lines with some cool innovative features and priced fair. I like the long water line which could equal for a better ride vs other cats in its size range. Is it possible to shorten the front bench some and then add a bench seats across the front section. A pair of flip down seats in front of the live wells would also be another good feature. By chance have you run any with the Merc 300's and as to the X dimension have you played with this and props to get better speeds. I was hoping for a little more top end speed (60-65mph) for a boat with this build quality and twin stepped. Look forward to checking them out.

Hello Jeff, Your comments are spot on. The more vertical bow reduces pitching / slamming as there is more resistance. Combine that with the wave piercing bow and you can be assured of a smooth ride. If you contact me through peter@hammeryachts.com I will send you some pictures / drawings of the U shaped seating forward. We have 3 options for the forward deck area: 1) just the bench forward of the console, which leaves the foredeck wide open, great for fishing 2) bench and coffin box / lounger. 3) bench and U shaped seating around the gunnel, turning the HammerCat more into a day-boat. As we build semi-custom, we can easily add flip down seats aft.

there are many factors that work together in sea-keeping ability of a vessel: the center of gravity, (the tanks are in the pontoons, low, and no weight on top), the wet surface / beam of the boat (12' x 35') and the hull shape. The HammerCat 35 has a very nice motion, both at rest as well underway in heavy seas.

As for heading up to St Barths, 150nm, easily doable even into the trade winds / waves. The flared bows and wave piercing hulls give our vessels another dimension.

HammerCat construction is high tech, with a hull of wet prepreg, vacuum-bagged epoxy/E-glass with different density Core-Cell foam for strength with the lightest overall weight. Epoxy is much lighter and much stronger than regular fiberglass, but also much more expensive and more difficult to work with. Not many boatyards have the skills / expertise / experience to build a boat like we do.

Nice boat. But producing a fishing boat like that, It MUST come with at least one large pressurized baitwell. I'd say at least 50 gallons, A pressurized bait well can't be an option on these boats, because no true fisherman is going to buy a fishing boat like that that doesn't have a large pressurized baitwell that's going to keep his VERY expensive live bait alive while running out 50 miles or more offshore. Not knocking the boat, just speaking facts.

please look up "COX Hammer Yachts", there is a KZread video on our channel featuring a HammerCat 35 with Cox outboard diesels. As for 'next generation', we are one of the very few builders that exclusively use epoxy composites / carbon fiber, and have a modern underwater body / double stepped hull and wave piercing bow. It is quite "next gen" not to have quad engines, and only use twin engines on a large platform such as the HammerCat 35.

The bow is not ugly, it is just unlike what your are used to. The typical sloping bow that has been common for the past 25 years is simply not efficient and has no resistance when the bow comes down in the water after going through a wave. With the wave piercing bow entry and the steep bow line on the HammerCat , there is more waterline and a finer balance. The HammerCat 35 defines the next generation power catamarans .

If you fish around Southern California this would be great for getting to the islands in the morning and back to Long Beach in the afternoon, or hitting up the kelp beds just offshore whenever you feel like it. Given the deck space, you can easily use it for lobster season and fit the 10 pot limit without tripping over yourself. It's expensive, yes, but that's presumably because it's not a simple fiberglass boat. Is this a boat you would use in Maine or Alaska? Probably not; however, for Southern California (or the keys) I can definitely see it used. The center consoles give better deck space and the ability to walk around instead of having to keep using your bow thruster to spin the boat is great for smaller boats.
