It's the best. Everything from clean to super sweet distortion. And not set to only mid scooped like the Sansamp.

To me it’s the best. Cleanest sound and so much to offer.

thanks for the demonstration. you play bass really well, that was fun to watch and listen I ordered a tone hammer DI last week and it’s arriving tomorrow. I have the tone hammer 500 amp and cab and it sounds amazing but I have some gigs where there isn’t room for an amp, need to go direct to the mixer

Thanks for the video. Beginners question. Am I right in thinking I can take this pedal and put it through a 500w amp and get tone hammer sound just like the tone hammer 500 amp?

Seems like it would be comparable, but may not be an exact duplicate. An actual amplifier has a much more complicated circuit that uses more components than a pedal can fit. The color of the amplifier could also color your sound.

Forgive my ignorance so the d.I. signal goes FOH..and when you kick it in this would be the tone coming from your amp and not FOH correct...unless you went post d.i.?

Thanks for your comment. So far nothing is planned with Darkglass but you'll never know ;-) Plus I have an interesting one on hold. It's the LeBass by Two Notes. Stay tuned for this one.

I use my Aguilar TLC compressor as a boost when I’m not using the AGS circuitry. And then when I turn on the AGS circuitry, I turn off the compressor so that I can use it when playing live and switch back-and-forth at will without any change and volume. Something to think about.
