You’ll be back has mostly the same scale and progression as another song called Grace Kelly by Mika. That said, You’ll be back has a bit of a toxic relationship vibe to it, and symbolizes King George (the toxic gaslighter) boasting about himself and his achievements as well as how he plans to destroy everything his enemies have to win them back. Grace Kelly is sung from the opposite perspective and has the opposite meaning. I know these songs are ten years apart in age, but…all things considered, it makes you feel like Mika is sort of clapping back to King George in the perspective of Hamilton, eh?

Given how absolutely insane King George got in his later years (something he can’t really be blamed for given how broken he got over the years from countless tragedies happening to his bloodline), the fact that it’s framed like a toxic relationship while staying in an absolutely upbeat tone just fits the mania that the king has fallen into by this point.
