Thanks for showing this man, Ventura's are always cool. As for quartz, I wear my SBGX261 more than my 116200, and my Bond Quartz more than my Sub, so there you go.

The 261 is a great grab and go and many say the same about them.

It's for some. Not me. Glad they make it tho.

Quick question on size: do these unusually-shaped watches wear (in terms of size) like the more familiar shapes? I find that with traditional shapes, anything beyond 47mm lug-to-lug is too big for me; the lugs will hang out in space. So with a long dimension of 50mm, I'm guessing this one would be too large?

Great question. I don't feel like it wore the same as a standard 50mm L2L watch. It's only part of the case that reaches that length and the "true" case is much smaller. I wouldn't have an issue wearing this watch.
