Interesting how? Seeing Lewis back to where he’s been for 3 years at Mercedes. The Ferrari is clearly 4th on the grid at best. Plus the poor strategy choices. Currently looking like a bad move unless they pull something special out the bag for 2026

@@Benmiller69o1 Verstappen had 10 wins in 2021. Hamilton had 8. Maybe if the race director had penalised Hamilton more fairly throughout the season, it wouldn't have gone down to the wire in Abu Dhabi (he even ignored Hamilton gaining a place on the opening couple of laps). In qually, Verstappen was over 0.400 quicker. Merc helped Hamilton lose the championship with poor/unlucky strat. Keep crying though. It may prevent a drought somewhere.

I think every racing driver wants to drive a Ferrari. Even Sterling Moss, who loved beating "those red cars" after being snubbed by Enzo in 1951, was signed to drive a Ferrari (but not for Ferrari) when he had his career ending accident.

Lewis had to make that decision. Personally think Toto and mercedes are hugely motivated by Red Bull going off the boil. They are seizing this chance and Max may well decide to join Mercedes for 2026.

He has demonstrated he can only win championships in a dominant car. 2009-2013 he was no where. 2022-2024 he was no where.

For most drivers, Ferrari is the ultimate dream. Hamilton, clearly, is no exception. Either way, he could not stay at Mercedes. The younger, and equally brilliant, Russell is too much competition and staying at Mercedes would become humiliating and problematic. Personally I would've preferred to see Hamilton finish out his career with the team that got him started, McLaren. However, with Norris and Piastri, they already have their dream team. So in context, Ferrari was the logical move. He brings championship winning experience to a team that clearly needs leadership.

@@TheTruth-ht7qm Look, I am a huge Lewis fan and have been since his carting days (yes, I actually watched him race, on track, many times when he was a kid). But I have to say that Russell is clearly his heir apparent and, like it or not, Lewis isn't a spring chicken as far as leading edge racing is concerned. Personally I'd be surprised if Lewis wins another GP (unless Ferrari have some trick up their sleeve for 2026) but doesn't mean I won't be fingers crossed. Either way, a magnificent performance today.

That’s was win on merit , clearly not the fastest car yet , the RB, McLaren possibly the Ferrari are faster but that was class showing through . GR was outclassed , then he tries to out brake LH in damp conditions ultimately losing out to Norris , instead keeping the head tucking in behind LH and extending the gap

He proved, he is the goat and he doesn't leaders to crash to each other to get a win...

Rather ironic, maybe even concerning, that Lewis has just beaten two Ferrari’s!

Reading the comment section is a comedy. The reason people said Hamilton was quote "washed" is because of the head to head after 2022. In 2024 he's still outmatched at least 70% of the time by Russell. He may not be washed, but he needs the car to be good to work well with it so logically won't do well in Ferrari. But then again, throughout history Ferrari has only been for people with a false ego in Ferrari due to heritage and then get surprised by disappointment. Meanwhile Russell will continue to do amazing things in sub optional cars consistently getting podiums and wins until he can clean his risks. Need anyone say more?

Extremely happy with this Race and the outcome for both Lewis and Toto & the Mercedes Team. Cannot help but wonder if Lewis may be kicking himself this time next year for departing an ascendant Mercedes at the end of this season. Time will tell! Mercedes should give the empty seat to Carlos Sainz.

Can't really say he should of won when he mad 3 big errors. 1. pitting too late. 2. overshooting his pit box, that cost him 2 sec and the lead. 3. putting on softs instead of mediums. And it was made clear that these decisions were Lando's, so it's his own fault...
