Hamilton Beach 5 Quart Slow Cooker Review
Independent review of 5 quart Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker. Removable crock, 3 heat settings, warm, low & high. A similar model comes with a strap to keep the lid on while transporting. This model appears to be identical to the crock pot in the video.

I've been using the slow cooker for about 8 months now. I use it 2-3 times a month. The only thing I can add at this time is that the Hamilton Beach cooks faster/hotter than the 50 year old Crock Pot brand cooker that failed (the Hamilton Beach is the replacement). I suspect that the old Crock Pot's heating element was slowly failing and over time it gradually was not as hot as when it was new. It was taking very long to cook anything, the reason for throwing it out.

50 year old crock, it sure had a great life.

It was one of the first made, I'm the 2nd generation in the family that used it. I doubt that this one will last 50 years.
