Hamas ‘must decide to flee or be eliminated’ as IDF ‘takes out several gunmen’ in Rafah in a day, according to a Middle East expert.
Dr Alan Mendoza, Executive Director at the Henry Jackson Society says Israel's offensive in Rafah is imperative to winning the war in Gaza.

These meetings or debates would surely be reflected in some minutes somewhere, right? The answer is a resounding “no”, because no decision of the sort ever came from these sources. Historian Walid Al-Khalidi reviewed every press release of the Arab league, where every critical announcement was made without a trace of such orders. Not content with official pronouncements, he then examined the minutes of the meetings of the Arab League General Assembly from the relevant periods, there was still no trace of an evacuation order. Determined to be as thorough as possible, he then went through the minutes of the Iraqi Parliamentary Committee which was formed after the 1948 war to report to King Faisal on the causes of the Arab defeat.

You haven't actually been to Gaza, have you. It had beautiful buildings and palm trees. Even a large commercial sign at the entrance. It may be a refugee camp now but it wasn't six months ago.

Firstly the definition of a refugee is someone that has been force to flee their country and has crossed an international border to seek safety. This suggests on relocation their children would not be refugees. So how and why are there decades of refugees? Secondly Palestine is not a country. A sovereign state was offered in 1947 and was rejected and has refused 5 times ever since. So no it doesn't take my breath away because they have chosen this path.

So the question is why is it considered a refugee camp? Since you appreciate facts. Palestine was offered statehood in 1947 and rejected it. They have been offered 5 times since then. A sovereign state was offered in 1947 and was rejected and has been rejected ever since. Secondly there are 2 UN refugee organisations,1 for the Palestinians called UNWRA with 30k employees and UNHCR with 18k employees for ROW. Why? Why is it still considered a refugee camp?
