In the 60's Army surplus had several.. recollect changing cntl sleeves and constant running dynamo times. keep oil handy.

Gosh - how incredibly complex, and how expensive this will have been. Something to have to justify with time-gained against the 'conventional' (at the time) multiplication of other machines that'd be less complex and less expensive. (By the way - great to see you back posting! :-)

Yeah I was surprised how complex the multiplication mechanism is compared to how simple the division mechanism is. Short cut multiplication does save quite a bit of time, but I dont think that alone would require this much complexity And thanks, Im not going back to 1 video a week but if I have something I feel is interesting to show/demo thats not already shown by someone else/somewhere else ill make a video on it

Thanks, yeah its surprisingly complex compared to the Hamann Automat (hopefully Ill have a video on that before too long...). And yeah I have to get back to posting there

Complicated intricate Rube Goldberg machinery like this just boggles my mind. Even when I start to understand how it’s working I can’t imagine how the person came up with it. Thanks for video b
