I listen to this a few times every day. It really grows on you. Besides the great poetry, the voice of Shafiji is divine.

Ji bilkul. We did an interview with him and he also recited some of his poetry in tarranum. Amazing soul. Also Ustad Shafi sang one Jumaan Darbadar's poems. It will come out in due course.

Bahut khoob, Shafi sahab sang in the same tempo as his famous rendition ' sachcha sahib ek tu'. Arif sahab, you and your project deserve special appreciation for bringing out the best in these artists. These maestros are able to express their best talent because of the ambience of freedom created by this project. I request you to also record at least one performance by Ustad Naseeruddin Saami. His khayal rendition 'kangana' was available on soundcloud but sadly it has been removed some time back. I earnestly hope you'll revive that lost gem by recording ' kangna' by Ustad Saami.

Wonderful words, music and singing. I can understand each and every word since I have realized supreme soul or god within me during meditation, and that's why sant Kabir has said "hamara yaar hai hum me, Haman ko intezari kya". God or Wahe guru or Allah has same form, bright..Very bright and beautiful light,.. and lives within us in the form of soul. In Gita Lord Krishna has also confirmed this.
