Price in the west. It cost nothing here in ghans which is sad on the producers.they do all but earn almost nothing.

This looks like so much work and procedures hopefully we get an invention of a Shea butter making machine to ease up the process of making this goodness But... It's a good thing the local way of making it is passed on from generation to generation.

This is an excellent showcasing of my favorite oil. How does one arrange for an in-person tour of the process when visiting Tamale? I found one company, but they are too expensive. I will be in Tamale in a couple of weeks and would love for my family to visit a home (rather than a factory) and participate in learning to make it-just like you did in the video.
