    Those only use a 13.5ton ram? is the log splitting force value posted in the video correct? Thats not very much and for something of the calibure I would think a 30 or 35 TON ram

    15" diameter Max log is way small. Most of what I get from the log truck is more like 24" diameter range. Is there a larger version or plans to make a larger version in the near future?

    How do you position the log once you load it onto the cutting deck? If you pay attention to the video when you first roll the log onto the deck the log is covering the splitter bar, then the video goes to a new frame and the log is now positioned behind the splitter bar. How did the log make this adjustment while you were inside the cab?

  • @SkidSteerSolutions

    @SkidSteerSolutions

    3 жыл бұрын

    Robert, nice catch. Looks like we may have done some "behind the scenes" work there between the frames... You would want to pick up the log so that is is behind the splitter bar when you roll it back. As you can see we picked up the log too far to the operators right and could have easily picked it up slightly more on the left side which would have solved this issue. Thanks for keeping us accountable.

    It would be nice to see this video showing all steps. Ok... we see how it can split a log, how about when you get down to that last piece? I'd it falling nice? Being placed by hand? Are we just throwing that piece away? How about positioning of a longer log? This video skips a few concerning steps. It also is in a faster speed when cutting and splitting. It would be nice to see it in normal speed.

    That's true, but that $5K attachment will fall a part just like the $400 pallet forks everyone is buying from China. You get what you pay for. If you want a well built unit that will last you 5 years + then you have to pay and that's the attachment we will provide even if a $5K unit was available. Because we know a $5K unit will fall a part and be a customer service night mare for us and the customer. We aim to please! We aim for quality!

    Tyler Hart So if you have the capital invested in that equipment you are a professional . This machine is designed for the smaller operator that works out of his pickup truck . In the majority of cases the need to have a CDL-A a medical card and the limitations of a log book make the use of a Semi unsuitable for somebody in the Lumber/Firewood business which tends to be seasonal at best . The fact that you have a Semi and a Cat Loader would mean that you are doing the volume that would cover the cost of a heavier duty log splitter . Well done you , I am impressed !

    You wont make the skid steer payment with this attachment. Even if you could find enough straight logs. Firewood is a low return on money. That skid steer can make way more doing other things.

    Two things... First off. Awesome fucking music Second. Too many jump cuts. I want to see this thing work through 3 or 4 logs without a skip. I'm inclined to think it doesn't work that smoothly if you won't show it doing a whole log without an edit. In conclusion. If this thing does work very well, it would be great because I could operate it wasted drunk, which is the only way to cut firewood.

We hope you get to operate one of these attachments, however we don't condone being under the influence while operating a piece of machinery that includes a chain saw, for obvious reasons :D

    It's a high quality unit and it demands the price. They aren't built cheaply and they aren't built by the thousands. You're right on the money. In our opinion and having sold these to happy customers, it's the efficiencies that you aren't speaking of and the ease of use and other saved costs with only needing one machine and one man to operate. Not to mention the toll on the body of manual work... The owner of this unit is going to much much happier! haha That I bet we can agree on!!
