meh. While I think she has one of my favorite female vocals right now and I think the Trent reznor production is more interesting than her past stuff, overall the album doesn't come off as edgy as shes wanting it to. The blood and visuals and all of it just feel a bit like a parody of something that actually is edgy.

I love the fact that her voice has always sounded like her records when she sings live. True talent. Love halsey so much. If I can't have love, I want power is her best album yet. Watching artists getting better as they go on is so great instead of releasing an album that does well and the rest are meh.

I really like Halsey, but I can’t say I agree with your comment. This performance is amazing, but I can hear there may be something placed on her microphone to perfect the pitch or vocal. I have also seen previous live performances which haven’t been great from her, so not sure if those were off days or she really isn’t as good live as studio based - which all real singers should be.

@@grantf2343 she definitely has her off days, but she has improved a lot since she started, I would suppose the added things on her mic is because she’s pregnant and obviously I wouldn’t imagine you’d be able to sing at your natural capability in that state. Just a guess tho. But I saw her live in 2020 at her tour and her vocals were insane

That's what her song 'I'm not a woman I am a God' is about. If you have seen the MV, you'll see her bravery and sacrifice, bold and beautiful. That's what the blood represents. Her singing 'I'm not a woman I am a God' while the blood drips down on her is. The song is abt womanhood and pregnancy, and hats off to her for giving us this song. And if you think her involving 'blood' was disgusting, then welcome to the real world. Get out of ur little shell of happiness and joy. She's real and no one does it like her.

Just blows my mind how she can literally stand there and this video doesnt have to have a lot of money spent on it….the lighting on how it goes from dark to light on each side of her face to add depth and dimension and an almost eery vibe…and then the blood splatter…is just such art. And in the song she sings..”I am not a legend, I’m a fraud”. Well, most of us disagree. She is a legend. Definitely not a cookie cutter molded artist for sure. A true artist.

Took me a second to get into it but definitely has the normal NIN vibes but less intense. Kinda feeling like you could pop this into Pretty Hate Machine and it wouldn't even be that out of place.

@@harleyquinn5774 I did get the vaccine, but I'm 5 months out from the vaccine, so I don't think that had anything to do with the improvement (though I know of people who DID have improvement due to the vaccine). I think my big turn around was starting CoQ10. Thank you! :) It's so nice to feel like I might have my life back.

Sorry about your Long Haul! People do not realize how serious and debilitating this condition is! Post-viral illness has been around for a long time and turned many peoples lives upside down. The research starts, but always gets dropped because it gets complicated. Hope it isn't the same this time. I got post viral illness 15 years ago and did all the wrong things (they pushed me to exercise hard) still have post/dysautonomia and all the same symptoms, 15 years later.
