Well by all means any thing coming from your hand will not damage the marines, honestly, even if you yeet a vehicle at them it won't hurt them, stick 'em with a plasma or spike' 'nade and they won't die. Friendly fire is completely remove from infinite

If that doesn’t reward you with an in-game achievement then the internet should just band together to craft you one by hand.

I always would get kinda sad when they'd die on halo 3 I had a favorite particular 3d model version too for some reason when I was a kid I'd even hit him to remove his helmet cause I thought he looked cooler I was a odd kid lol

Everyone: Fast travel’s the fastest way to get from one side of the map to the other. Wet Wasabi: …and I took that personally.

One thing I wish they did was let you command the Marines. I always tried to set them up with a well positioned warthog turret while I start wrecking all the enemies on foot. But they all stop what they are doing and get out of the truck and I'm like Noooooo!!!!!! And then they run off and get murdered...and then my truck feels lonely...

@@Ezioauditore5678 ff7 speedrunners recently were able to skip a 20 minutes section, the skip was discovered not even one year ago, look up kalm skip. Speedrunners are a dedicated bunch.

This is how you know its a true Halo game. Try doing something insane and wacky like this in 4 or 5. I was genuinely happy when I was able to squeeze a Warthog into a doorway it was not meant to go and just splatter all the aliens the devs intended me to shoot.

The issue is that unlike the previous games, there is no dynamic storyline... just a semi-interesting open world without any epic movie like storyline.

@@joshuab2437 I don't think that's true. Once you start doing the actual missions it moves along pretty well like a traditional campaign. The open world could have been integrated a little more seamlessly, but I can forgive that as a first attempt. My only real problem with the campaign was the bullet sponge boss battles. They were not executed well at all.

@@bluebomber875 it doesn't need to he a cutscene. Just make them follow the rules of all the other enemies like Halo always has done. The Ultra Elites were always the "bosses" but they were just badass enemies with stronger shields and bigger guns. If you were smart you could still plasma pistol them though. You can't do anything smart or tactical but keep shooting the infinite bosses until they die which is lazy and boring.

@@joshuab2437 True on the storyline, but at the same time I don’t mind. The plot goes as follows: “Master Chief gets pissed off so badly he (mostly) singlehandedly annihilates an entire army as a warm up.” With that plot, I’m fine with just running around and beating the Banished to hell

Halo 5 did justice with the thruster system. Had it not been for the ground pound, Spartan charge, and bad campagin it would've been the best game in existence. @@IPolish1 there is not a skull that reduces gravity, it increases explosive force (there are a lot of things that count as explosive force in this game besides the obvious). There is also one that increases explosive blast size. Combine the two and magic happens.

The map itself isn't huge; but, it's not exactly small either. The ability to move around quickly in Infinite makes it feel small; so, I'm hoping they expand it considerably over time.

It warms my heart to see that after all these years, the marines still come first!

I actually figured out that if you jump directly over a fusion coil and grapple onto it you won’t get a pickup animation as the coil is supposed to be in-front of you to be picked up so you will start levitating hella fast up to where you hit the boundary I’ve used this technique to pretty much to get to places

I never take my marines on dangerous missions cuz I feel bad when they die, even when they spawn new ones in FOBs.

I just arm them with Arcane Sentinel beams. They put them in the Razorback 'Party Wagon' and it's death on wheels. They kill everyone by combined sustained shots.

Favorite Power Weapon (D. Energy Sword for me) in the trunk for extra ammo/battery, 5 Rocket/Laser Marines, and go rolling up on everything

Part of the reason why I bumped it down to heroic. At least I can save some of the Marines

Moved the first two out of the way, gained my respect. The next marine walks right in the way, I’m like “bruh”. Moves that one too. I love how you cared.

@@hownoble6404 Of course I have, but generally I think most players want to protect the marines, especially in the case of an elite general rushing a marine with an energy sword lol

I know all those characters are just NPCs and this a video game but this guy making sure they are safe is just wholesome.

How terrifying... Imagine being a grunt on your routine patrol walk, and suddenly you start hearing the Warthog theme intensify... You look towards the beautiful horizon and see the Chief flying towards you, perfectly in a straight line, no arch what so ever.... I'd be stress breathing my methane tank empty

Imagine being a Banished soldier looking up and you see master chief with a a gravity hammer flying towards you at the speed of sound

And that's why the grapple is a great addition to the game.

A true hero. Sparing the Marines. When I used to play Reach, I would quit a mission if I killed one (I was 9 and stupid).

That one marine that walks DIRECTLY Infront of you and bagged knew exactly what he was doing.

I would’ve laughed even more had you done that just to arrive at a marine distress beacon after pushing the other marines out of harms way.

With how fluid and solid the controls are in the campaign, I know this is 100%. I thought I was being crafty with this new wire but this beat everything. Thanks for posting this!! :)

Always appreciate the care for your Marine pals. I remember as a kid restarting the Silent Cartographer over and over just to make sure I didn't let any Marines die haha.

Bro i have alwyas defended marine in all halo game. 😂😂 When i can i don't wear them for their safety 😂

I took such care around marines at the base. Until I beat the campaign then fancied smacking one with the ban hammer and found out I couldn’t kill them with any of my weapons. The hammers just boop them around quite hilariously. Didn’t try coils and explosive though.

coils and explosives don't work but you can fling objects into them and it will kill them so just get them on the other side of a vehicle and you can splatter them
