I hate to say that I'm not a big fan of the Chimera core, but with that said this operation looks pretty good, mainly because of all the new maps. That's what makes an operation interesting. Let me know if you're excited for Cyber Showdown

If you havent noticed, the surgeon sniper from the 2000cr bundle escaped the horror and became a 600cr on its own and the surgeon bundle is now 1800cr.

Man i love new maps but this game has way more than enough at this point. I wish they would have invested more into weapons and vehicles like they did with H5 post launch, but i know that ship has already sailed of Infinite now since its winding down. I have a feeling they might just save the Flacon for the next game as well.

Really the only saving grace the Chimera Core has for me is you can see your Visor color on your shoulders, chest, knees, etc. Which to be fair, can look a little nice depending on your color combinations.

I really like that they are finally adding new maps for husky raid. as for chimera, i agree with you that chimera is not my go-to spartan, however i do like the cosmetic pieces that allow the visor colors on them. I always considered the chimera core to be something similar to a “scout” spartan, one who is fast and nimble yet open to attacks.

Bro chimera core is the goat core, My mate and I rock it just to look as shit as possible 💀😭

FYI ranked slayer has added illusion and 3 halo 3 maps to the rotation. Definitely adds some spice to the competitive environment. Need those halo 3 maps into the regular ranked rotation!

MOAR SPACE MAPS! Also as a CHIMERA fan, I feel a little iffy on the new armor, as it does look a bit..unusual, but if we're talking more Forerunner theme stuff, I guess it does make sense. Looking forward to the Pharaoh map as well! And can I just say, I'm so happy they finally released all of the music from MP.

Yeah the new armour looks...interesting to say the least lol. I'm super keen to try out the new maps too! I know it's been said to death, but Halo Infinite's MP music is seriously amazing, so I'm glad they've finally released the music for it :)

They need to bring back the last man standing. That shit was fun. There are also achievements I'm missing out of it

I kinda think that in the middle of the operation they might release some stuff with the new husky raid maps, 343 has dropped stuff out of the blue before like the new firefight maps and btb maps, So maybe?

You make a great point about Operations being boring as they all follow the same formula emblems, charms, back drops, 2 armour coating, a weapon, visor or vehicle coating then toward the end an armour set. In season 4 events we had a weapon model in Tenrai 3, 2 weapon models in Cyber Showdown 2 and some stances like the Shock Rifle guitar style one. Since Season 5 launched weve had NO new stances at all. Then 2 weapon models as premium pass purchase bonuses

I’m one of the very few people that actually like the Chimera core 😂 If you build it right you can actually make it look sick! I actually made a Halo 5 hcs athlon style spartan using chimera before they released the Athlon helmet in the HCS bundles last year :)

On the topic of getting free items or items in general, I wish they'd implemented a points system and then you get to choose what you want to do with it. It just makes more sense to me, you get to grind and you still get a tinge of freedom of choice which makes it feel more worth it and makes me feel like I'm part of the ecosystem so to speak.

I just cant get hyped for Chimera gear, plain and simple.

I like the lore aspect of the Chimera core like how they look is supposed to be like AI taking over and this is how they design the armour which is interesting and stuff, and that Commando skin I guess reminds me of the I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream thing with the organic looking wires and all that. Still, I will say that I kinda dislike the core because its silhouette and overall aesthetic just doesn't match what Spartans usually look like. The Yoroi and the Eaglestrike core do still give you that Spartan silhouette while bringing their alternate universe aesthetic but Chimera just screams moreso 'skinny Crysis'. This is just my opinion though.

fun fact the chimera core is the only fracture core that is actually canon to the halo lore, but not for spartans. they're essentially just bipedal robot bodies for the created AI that were part of cortana/warden's army

@@FootedGhost when I say this I mean this about literally every halo content creator. The titles feel pretty optimistic and getting forge maps just feels like the bare minimum at this point.

I’m pretty sure we won’t be getting any new sandbox items for Infinite going forward. I’m willing to bet it’s all scrapped and the only new content will be forge maps and shop updates.

Unfortunately im probably gonna sleep on this update, im gonna be playing helldivers 2 more and more... Halo infinite is just not that appealing to me anymore... I'll still play it but not as much as i used to

The new map elevation looks neat we do need more maps with more fall hazards for the sake of the repulser, along with that the husky raid maps look cool. Speaking of husky raid maps I've been working on a new one set in a haunted house, so that will be hopefully ready soon. Also check out my new arena map the shackle.

I see potential and some of these will look much better without that SHITTY pink coating they plastered on the Spartan

We should get like a csgo mode with cybershow down operation such a missed opportunity…that would be so dope and rarity would have actual meaning in the game

We got one in halo 5 but the fans hated it (as always).

I just can’t bring myself to play the game without progression, I have over 100 days played on my Xbox stats but grinding for a single unlock (chief kit) is like another 3000 hours so I’ll pass.

I was grinding for it until Helldivers 2 came out. Halo is a lost cause right now.

I was informed on instagram that Chimera is in fact canon. It's explained away somehow in some of the extended story you have to fish around for.

I think the chimera core is canon. But there's just one of them so far.

They should introduce a mode where different armor cores give you passive abilities based on the core They’d have to find ways to balance it but it could be a new way to change multiplayer
