They should've kept those turrets man... H1 MacWorld is crazy! The other games like H3 reuse so man sound effects and vehicles.

The lighting and models look so pastel. It’s like a kids crayon drawing of halo. It’s charming. I also like the alt or charged fire options with ALL the weapons. Really makes it seem sci fi with the really deadly tools. Book Starship Troopers vs Movie Starship Troopers.

Hearing the “shredding song” of Marty O’Donnell fits so well in the pelicans delivering supplies and vehicles.

Intro sounds amazing in surround sound haha. You strike a good balance between informing about the mod and letting the mod play when no words are needed

Love the variety of weapons here as well as how the covenant weapons feel beefy as hell. I always felt halos human weapons had more love put in and they always felt better to use. Like in universe these weapons are supposed to have cut down more than half of humanity these weapons to me live up to the level of beefy needed.

Bruh the plasma pistol is like the third best gun in the game both in single shot and chargeup shot, mostly superior to the plasma rifle and AR

@@NYG5 ngl made this point two years ago ive learnt a bit about game design in that time i didnt realise then that balancing in games was neccessary. In game convenant weapons are well balanced against unsc weapons vs in lore where we see humanity on an almost continual backfoot in large part due to the convenants technological superiority. In game covenant weapons sometimes felt like a secondary priority with fewer options in halo 1 and 2. I always liked the convenant weapons and seeming them beefed up almost brings the universe alive more.

You never even talked about the Flood. Was there really nothing changed about them?

This mod keeps a lot of things from retail when it comes to the flood. So nothing really worth mentioning except for some use flamethrowers.

This is insanely awesome.. I MUST play this for the original Halo 2 BR it's a thing of beauty... I hope I can play this on console eventually

The original battle rifle was so good with single round shots and epic heavy sound. Too bad it was replaced in the final version

The marines clothing is a bit too bright in my opinion,but the other mods are sick.

So what it all boils down to, is that much of the weapons were totally nerfed. I mean seriously, the Assault Rifle having a grenade launcher probably would have kept it from being useless on Legendary.

4:28 - would be funny if the cursed Halo CE mod changed this animation to chief drop kicking or upper cutting the marine into the pod lol. Not sure why this video made me think of that one

There should be a pore accurate E3 battle rifle like the BR15E3 Battle Rifle

My only complaint that the AR reloads at a turtle's pace while almost every other weapon kept default speed. Not sure if it's the mod that's slowing it down or if it was intentional.

It doesn't. It won't allow the switch option to happen. If it did, many weapon models would just be cubes or won't show at all

this is cool but its not really the macworld version at that point halo was still a 3rd person game. this is more the post microsoft acquisition of bungie version

If you actually had friends to play coop/multiplayer with, you would see that the flash light was attached to the armor of the player model. While in first person it _looks_ to be attached to the weapon. In this mod, the flashlight is truly attached to the assault rifle and magnum, which it isn't in retail. That's what he is saying.
