The woman that gets the light bulb to the neck is the woman that shows the journalists Judith's gravestone in Halloween 2018, and you can see michael watching in the background. So her death isn't that unconnected.

Big John and Little John are Realtors,you can see their promotion on a bench when Tommy goes around town looking for people to hunt Michael Down. They most likely couldn’t sell it because of The Myers Tradgey,Which is why they probably live in it

And it has a great deleted scene Included... The one where Lonnie is walking home alone After the cop tells him and the Mulaneys that a psycho is on the loose; then Lonnie sees Myers peering at him from the hedges and disappearing. They must be watching a DVD/Blu-ray because that scene wasn't included in the original, but they have an option to play the movie to include the deleted scenes. That scene, and the one with Laurie Strode walking out of the hospital with the knife in her hand at the end, were so good. But, This one is my favorite by far. When I first saw it, I couldn't understand Why they didn't include it in the theatrical release

I agree, loved the flashback. I think that's my favorite part of the whole movie. I wish they would do a whole movie like that flashback....... With that old school Halloween feel that it had

​@@markell60 Agreed. The flashbacks were The Best part of this movie and I'm all for seeing a movie set during or before this time period. Plus, the guy who played Myers is Great. I think his name is Airon Armstrong and he gives a really Castle-esque performance of The Shape. I vote they hire him for any future projects calling for a young Myers. He's definitely in my top 5 Myers actors

*They did an amazing job recreating the Myers house in this movie. in the 78 flashback and in 2018. it was built on a soundstage and even the neighboring houses were a perfect match to the houses next to the Myers house in the original*

Speaking of those hot cops...the one that gets taken out in the house is Jim Cummings. He wrote and directed one of my favorite scary movies called The Wolf of Snow Hollow. It's a small independent film (which tend to be some of my favorite horror films). I'd love to see you guys react to it. It's very camp and a little unhinged and it doesn't get enough love and attention. I think you guys might enjoy it and I'd sure enjoy seeing you react to it.

I wish I could love this film more. I wish this entire film was JUST a flashback. But I’ll never forgive this film for making me believe people are this dumb to confuse The Penguin Vs Two Face. Or that this town is that traumatized by a 1970s tiny murder. It would make more sense if 2 still mattered. Now back to what I love: how the font to the H18 Trilogy each match the original trilogy and their respective film. 2018 has Halloween 1’s title font. Kills has Halloween II’s and Ends with Season of the Witch. What a stylish choice.

[Edited for clarity and Mulaneys info] Thank you both for such a fun reaction. I Like this movie, but I Love the Flashbacks. There's something so... how can I describe it?... familiar yet, unsettling and nerve-wracking about 70s Haddonfield. On the one hand, it's a small Midwestern suburb that's always been safe to the point of boring. Which is why the biggest problem they've ever had were the pranksters causing damage and annoying everyone. Before He Came Home. But, out of nowhere, as Lonnie is walking home after his encounter with the Mulaneys, there's suddenly something Off, cold, and really dangerous about all the shadows and dark patches, the quiet, the sound of the dried autumn leaves skittering across the pavement, the wind. And then, Lonnie looks up and Sees this ghost white mask half hidden behind the hedge. Just Staring at him. Not moving. Waiting for him to get closer. Worse, after Myers is noticed, he just nonchalantly walks away and disa-freaking-ppears. That's Nightmare fuel right there. And it's done so well because it's not making a big deal about it. It's Real in the way it would actually happen, in this strange yet ordinary way. It's perfect. Which is Why I will Never understand why DGG cut it from the theatrical release of the movie. But, I'm so glad it was restored in the Extended cut because it really Makes the whole flashback Great, and heightens the creeping unease of that encounter with The Boogeyman for Lonnie. And we understand the absolute fear he carried all his life after that night. One more insight... According to the novelization, the reason the Mulaneys are attacking Lonnie is because, earlier in the evening, he got separated from his two friends and ended up trick or treating with the Mulaneys' cousin. For no reason at all, Lonnie decides to hit the cousin and steals a bunch of his candy, in particular, a large jawbreaker. The Mulaneys find out what happened and go looking for Lonnie. That's why when they find him, they're demanding to see what candy he's hiding in his hand, and when it turns out to be a large jawbreaker, they're about beat Lonnie up until the deputy appears and tells them to get home. So, Lonnie is a bully until meeting The Shape. Looking forward to the next Halloween reaction

LOVED this movie. Seen it 4 times and i never understood the hate. This one truly showed Michael's rage and overall the movie lived up to the hype IMO

They chanted "Evil dies tonight" just for most of them to get killed. No shade, but it is ironic like Alanis Morissette.

I wanted to see michael as just a boogeyman but human. Cause we have always seen his as supernatural. To me the ends movie would have ended differently if they went that route.

In my opinion the 2018 first movie is my fav. Its the end that made me not like kills so much. In my opinion i figured they were gonna go a new route with michael by not making him "supernatural". Once they did that i was like now where can they go with it?

This is my favourite of the trilogy. 2018 might be better, but this one is more entertaining. Yes its badly written, and the hospital mob scene is cringe and unnecessary virtue signaling, but its still more fun generally speaking and the godawful Halloween Ends redeems this film a LOT

I know it’s not particularly horror but I’d love it if the Pumpkins watched Fargo. Both the movie and the series are excellent.

i think this film failed because of multiple reasons: 1. It was delayed nearly 2 years and was hyped up so much that when it finally released it was a major flop 2. the constant dialogue of "evil dies tonight" made it super cringey 3. the random sub plot of the mental patient killing himself was unnecessary i get that at the time this movie came out there were the riot and stuff going on but that should have been left out of the film, no one likes to see real like meta in films if its not a scream film. 4. some kills like the girl shooting herself by accident with the door was just dumb, i think half my theater had walked out by that point 5. the worst part of this film is that it gets worse in the next film Halloween has spawned many different timelines and they can never seem to get it right with any of them

Best parts of this movie were the flashback and Lindsay going in on Michael. Otherwise this movie is bad. Too many dumb kills and people you don’t care about. The gay couple were two of the dumbest! Every opportunity to leave and they just get themselves killed. Also hate that Michael is just an old man, not the supernatural entity of the original series.

I loved Jamie Lee UNTIL Halloween Ends. The way she played it up before it's release, and how great it was, how awesome of a conclusion to her character's story arc... guys, I was so stoked for ENDS but when I seen the absolute worst installment(ENDS) I literally felt deceived by Jamie Lee. An actress of her caliber, to KNOW how much that movie was going to piss off the fans, and still did the publicity circuit hyping it up as something that it was totally not, just destroyed her image in my mind. Petty? Maybe. But seriously. ENDS was soooo bad. Laurie Strode was mentally distraught for almost 50 years WHILE MICHAEL WAS LOCKED AWAY? But in Ends, when she KNOWS he's loose and could be anywhere, she is leaving doors unlocked and playing Betty Crocker, I was so damn confused. She's only psychologically damaged when Myers is LOCKED UP?! Then as hot as Corey was, he went from interest to love to absolutely crazy with the "If I can't have her, no one will" mentality in just 3 days??? Michael had been an unstoppable force of evil for so long but is suddenly ready for a nursing home? I mean, God, it was bad. Shit, sorry. I went off on an ENDS tirade LOL I was just so upset with Jamie Lee over it.
