Michael reaching for his knife, in my opinion, is the scariest part of the movie. Even after getting shot and beaten to a pulp, and still even against the odds, all he wants to do is to continue his slice and dice 🎃

Exactly. His body may have been broken at this point but his spirit for killing has not. It's like an upside down version of a hero never giving up to accomplish his goal even when he is on his last legs.

I just like how Myers stares at them for a couple of seconds at first without any kind of emotion whatsoever and then just reaches out for his mask and puts it on. He knows what he is, what he must do and what he wants to do. He is not someone you can scare with numbers. It is the perfect way of telling to audience that this man is something more than a man. Just like Loomis said in the original '78 movie " I realized what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply…evil.”

The music fits so perfectly here. I got chills when Michael put on the mask and tilted his head to look at the people around him. No fear, no emotions. It's like he silently taunts them, as if to say >come on, show me what you got

I like how Mike went from just an old guy then went to being the scariest person you could ever meet once he put his mask back on

The reason why this scene is so fantastic is that more than any other scene in any Halloween movie it shows The Shape's total absence of a fear response. - He is surrounded by about 40 armed individuals and he is completely unphased.

This scene is definitely intense, and the score is incredible. What really gets me is the history. Seeing Tommy all grown up and STILL trying to kill Michael, just shows what the director wanted. He wanted to be able to show the characters from the original film all grown up and show their continued struggle. Michael Myers is still legendary.

What I love about this scene is at 0:33 Michael zeroes in on Tommy as if he's the alpha of the group, It's as if he notices who the dominant person is out of the group and gets ready to take him out until he gets hit from behind. I like to think this is the case about this whole fight as the Shape proceeds to massacre everyone else before he leaves Tommy to be the last person alive to fight one on one until one of them is the last one standing

One dude here unloaded 5 .357 magnum rounds into him and he took a .45-70 round to the jaw in the last movie (the same night). Unless it’s an high caliber assault weapon like an AK-47, guns aren’t really doing anything to stop him.

I don't understand why everyone hated this movie, They complain Michael just did killing and there wasn't any story, But in ends there was more story and less of Michael killing and still complain lol

A lot of people didn't like the ending of this movie. But no one can deny this whole sequence was badass as hell. One of the best Halloween moments imo

The entire movie sucked. Why would you keep the main character in the hospital the entire time away from the action? Why would the mob think the tiny bald guy was Myers? Karen’s death was unnecessary. First one was great but the writing in this one was baffling. Hopefully they redeem themselves for the last one

this movie is really really good i don’t get the hate for it even though it was a little bit cringe

This scene was epic in the theater just hearing the John Carpenter theme echo and radiate the theater was both chilling and epic the way Michael just casually leaned down and put his mask on preparing for war.

As soon as Tommy said: "We got this Karen" you just knew they were all dying 🤣

The best thing about this scene in my opinion is the music. Taking ‘The Shape Hunts’ from Halloween 2018 and ramping it up so that it becomes even more epic. This may not be a perfect movie, but for a few seconds this is the perfect scene.

JJC is my favourite Myers now after this trilogy, he played him so well. I really hope if there is another reboot or something down the line, they bring him back.

I love Michael Myers when he slow turn his head around to look at the people that he going be down.

I think the reason this score is so badass to me is because it almost sounds like trumpets , trumpets of war. Micheal knows whats coming but he doesnt run he isnt shaken in the slightest bit. Pure evil

Michael went from tanking gun shots and bat swing to getting punked by a 22-year-old who was simultaneously getting punked by highschoolers.

The background music in the beginning was everything😂😂

The first 30 seconds of the scene is the best! How Michael needs his mask to do the killing. How even when he's outnumbered, he still looks menacing and acting like he knows how to get out of this. Also, how the grownup kids finally get their revenge on Michael even when you know in the back of your head...."They're all gonna die..."

it's not that he needs it, it's cause doing a constant routine is what keeps him sane in his on way, this something psychic hospitals do for their patients and any small changes could make the patients excited or troubled.

It’s really interesting looking back at these scenes after watching ends, the two really do feel like two entirely different movies

The score of this scene is so iconic and brilliant, and I would say the film's score as a whole is one of the best (if not THE best) of the franchise. I'm so glad Carpenter and his son did the music for this new trilogy, with Daniel Davies of course.

I always loved the music during the scene when Tommy first grabs the old Huckleberry bat and walks out the bar when they all think Michael is in the car. But I couldn't find it on the soundtrack. Do you happen to know what it's called?

This is my favorite scene! Michael is not afraid of the mob running at him and then confronting them! He can't be stopped!

in this movie he single handly killed the entire fire department killed over 40 people all alone after he been shot beaten up and stabbed but in Halloween ends he was over powered by that cop in the sewer and then a bullied teenager who could not even stand out for himself take him down easily took his mask and in the end he was killed by a 61 old lady after a few stabs what happened to the myth they built in this movie what they have done to your character michael

The class to the kid who reminded the teacher we had homework.

I like how not a single mob person ever goes for a kill hit through the neck/brain. Just focus on hitting his torso and legs. And how the person with a gun steps forward to get into melee range before even trying to fire. They should make a cut where someone just pops Michael from 100 yards and the credits roll.

It reminds me of a dream i had, i was in my living room but suddenly i falled to the ground and a white light started to appear all around, knowing i was going to wake up i was holding out triying to grab a cool green truck i never saw before, i woke up really upset because i didn't reached it :(

Everything Laurie said at the end of this scene is contradicted by the entire next movie.

The fact that Micheal did not make a single sound while getting beat up is INSANE.

Even after being beaten to oblivion, stabbed and shot time after time after time, he still gets up. You gotta admire that at times, imagine if he was a boxer, he’d win nonstop.

I find it annoying how they waited for michael to put on his mask to start attacking. Like wtf

The thing i liked is that you can even hear Michael breathing hard and sounds kinda shocked when his knife gets picked up lol
