My rule of thumb is after my husband’s bday August 1st I start doing inventory and pulling everything out. Do my reorders. Then start the decorating process. I normally complete everything by Halloween 😂 then we don’t take it down until the first weekend of November after the day of the dead.

I am both a halloweentown and hocus pocus fan! I can’t choose! They’re both very nostalgic for me 🥹

Halloween Town ALLLL DAY! I love them all. Lead character actress change was startling for me though. I also love that the original actress married her costar from the second.

I'm excited for your Halloween 🎃 decorations that makes me happy. I remember back in the 90s in my old neighborhood my neighbor's decorate there house and I watched them decorate Halloween bring back good old memories. Even though I'm not in my old neighborhood anymore I moved since 2004 but it does bring memories since the 90s

The crystal ball 🔮 garland looks better (IMO) because the colors go with the pumpkins 🎃. •I’m not a fan of 2 types of Halloween decor: scary/bloody, or creepy (rats, spiders, snakes, etc.) I love all the “cute” or vintage decor. 👻 I’m not decorating until Sept. Your living room looks great! 🫶🏻🥰🧡 •Just a suggestion: Maybe get a small shelf, or table for the 2 pumpkins on the floor?! (By the door) If you have the space/money. 😍

At night it’s so fun when it’s all lite up and a Halloween movie is playing. That mirror is actually from a small shop on Etsy years ago 😭 she doesn’t make them now but there are others on there! I’m a definite Hocus Pocus gal. Re the garlands, why not hang both with the crystal balls higher than the monster garland. But if it’s one or the other, I like the monster one better. However, you do you girl! Either way, it’s cute!

I watched Halloweentown for the first time last October. 😬 I thought it was really bad lol I’m thinking it’s a movie people love for nostalgic reasons? Hocus Pocus is such a better movie, but I think Halloweentown could be great if they maybe redid it now?

So I completely agree! I absolutely LOVE it but I grew up with it 😂🧡 I absolutely think that our love for a lot of these movies simply comes from the fact that they feel comfortable and nostalgic to us!

Did you get a cat for a Halloween KZread video 😂 I mean that's dedication 😉 I sadly can't watch Hocus pocus anymore my dog Winnie passed away may 1st 2022 and I just can't do it and then part 2 came out and I tried and then we'll we know how it ended so I was close to needing a psychiatrist so I stick to my other favs and I prefer a bit darker so for my Halloween comfort movies it's Lady in White (a must watch if you haven't seen it) and The Worst Witch with Tim Curry and what's quickly becoming one of my new favorites The Black Phone it has just the right Halloween tone and feel for me. Ok with all love I prise, the interior decorator in me needs to move that chair though.

Just asking ? Have you Seen the movie called Lady in white? It sends Fall and autumn spooky Halloween party in like The 60s class room.its The way we had party's When I was child. I like most creepy crawlies as decor...I decorate with spiders, webs, rats, bugs, etc. Everything but snakes. NO snakes. Me and my sister have a deal: I won't give her clown stuff, and she won't give me snake stuff.
