I heard they have a pumpkin intro credit scene with the same font and orange color, but the pumpkin is rotten and reverses back into a ripe pumpkin. Is that true?

I *will* say that there are numerous references and visual cues tied to the first film and others in the series. This film was made by people who know and truly LOVE the original. Many Easter eggs but it never gets intrusive or obnoxiously referential.

And the film selves deeply into how the events of 1978 caused a ripple effect on the lives of not just Laurie, but the people of Haddonfield. It’s a smart script.

I did like the 1st one. It turned me into a John Carpenter fan. I do have a soft spot for the 3rd. one... the Michael Myers-less flick. But I'm eager to see this one. Can't wait.

Edward Black season of the witch has a certain bonkers charm to it, for sure. And that maddening jingle that’s always in my head! Lol

Christian Henson the Shape is incredible. It’s a fantastic physical performance.

Saw it at the same screening and definitely disagree on the film but the crowd certainly loved it.

linda parsons don’t be - there are a few genuine Laugh-out-loud lines and moments that don’t detract from the moments of terror at all. Think of it as a roller coaster ride; cheers and thrills.

Christopher McDonald Unless this film makes a lot of money which I'm sure it will. Myers can't be killed he is the Boogeyman. He might appear to be dead but he's really not. If they were to kill him for good it better be extremely convincing and well written.
