Okay sooo what exactly is stopping you to be the same person with someone of same gender? Also to note, your point is very vague, so like you know that "traditional family values" were: women stfu and listen to your husband Or also, you should respect someone just because they are your family/they made you Do you really think that's healthy? Respect is earned, not given But what most of those right wing values produce are ego maniac parents who are always right Logical inconsistencies I just can't...

It just seems like these people are permanently on 'seek and destroy' as a setting.

Thank you, it goes to show the rainbow mafia isn't about "tolerance" or 'acceptance" Candace apparently isn't welcome in Hollyweird, so she decided to create a film production that goes along with her beliefs, but people like Siwa needs a lot of maturing to do, and hopefully she doesn't get too comfortable with her age, hopefully look back at this and realize people are allowed to have personal beliefs different from others and still co-exist, in hindsight this type of vitriol from the abc mafia are no different than the Westboro Baptist Church, the cultist from back in the day who used to have posters of "gays go to hell" at their funeral which is unacceptable Now in today's climate it's trend to hate on tradition they forget their existence is because of heterosexual relationship, in addition pushed for laws to helped them have children adoption, get married, etc, so all this bravado, superficial, boasting nonsense is truly off putting and not progressive, so you they might want to take a step back and do some deep reflection.

Something you said perfectly explains why I’m struggling with the books I’m writing. One of my favorite authors was recently criticized for not having enough diversity in both skin color and sexuality in her fictional book about fairies. And it’s weird because every single fairy has completely different skin colors and there was same-sex relationships but according to many people, it wasn’t enough. There is now some sort of list you have to go down and check off in order to meet the needs of people and make sure their feelings aren’t hurt. Why in the world would people want every book to be the exact same? If we have to go down a list and check things off in order for it to pass today’s standards in be part of a good publishing company, everyone’s just writing the same book. My book has nothing to do with skin color or sexual preference. Having to include items off of some sort of “make everybody happy“ rule completely goes against different types of authors and books and content. Why in the world would people want every single book to fit into some specific category? I like to read fantasy but I don’t like historical romance. If every book had to have a little bit of each thing in it then it would defeat the whole purpose of genres. Why do I have to structure MY story in a way to make sure all people are represented? A fictional world with fictional characters and I suddenly I’m being pressed to add scenes that have nothing to do with my book just to please the masses??? I love writing but this has completely changed my perspective on things and I find myself not into it as much as I used to be because publishing companies are wanting me to change my style of writing to make everybody happy. B I don’t want to be like everybody

I hear you. Honestly, I know writing involves a lot of imagination, but how am I supposed to write believably from a perspective about which I know nothing? It's really not my business to promote all these things people want promoted and I don't want to write to fulfill an agenda. I just want to tell a story. I was just reading a book that takes place in the Victorian era and there was one little scene where transgenderism was promoted. All I could think was, "This scene has nothing to do with the actual story. The author just threw it in there for woke points."

I am going to be sad when I see the reactions to the movie upcoming that will feature the gay couple. They are going to be so disappointed and really it’s not fair cause the general audience for hallmark isn’t the generation demanding all the woke stuff! Let them spend the last few years not having that shoved in their faces! I also plan on trying to warn the ladies I know are Christians and see if they want to watch something else that day.

There’s nothing “woke” about gay couples. Queers have been here since the beginning of time. There are literally countless movies with straight couples. (In part that is because straight people are the majority of course.) But it’s also in part because of homophobia. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging we exist in the form of a movie. Not only that, but real Christian’s know the Bible isn’t homophobic. Because we actually study scripture and history. Anti gay verses have been intentionally mistranslated to say what they say now. Most of the texts were originally condemning pedophiles. Not same sex couples. 🤦🏽‍♀️ People just cling to well known mistranslations as an excuse for their hate or intolerance. If you’re gonna hate me, go ahead and hate me, but don’t use God as an excuse. It’s aaaaaall you darling, not him. 😂 Maybe those old ladies can use the time they’d normally spend watching Hallmark movies, to study Ancient Greek and learn what the Bible actually says. They may be old, but it’s never to late to learn of your mistakes and repent for being a douche.

We're blessed in America to live in a free country and you've got to make your own choices on how to live your life, but you can't control what others believe nor feel. It's woke because there's an active push to promote it, rather than there being an increased consumer desire that companies are meeting. God loves us all! Never said I hated anyone. My issue is with the audience. This stuff can be really confusing and difficult to elderly Who grew up in much much different times. I personally have never cared much for the hallmark and lifetime type movies due to their poor quality in general. I truly have no issue with people who choose to be with someone same sex. I have an issue with it being pushed into faces of children, culture and little old people who just want something happy to watch to pass the time. I actually have a hair stylist who is gay, as well as several co workers and I am a huge fan of Dave Rubin. So please don’t accuse me of hate. Just like those coming down on Candace. She doesn’t hate them either. We can still love the person without loving the choices they have made. I don’t agree with murdering babies, but that doesn’t mean I hate every women who has chosen an abortion. I am saddened for them. I care for them and the child the lost. But I don’t hate them. Candace and her older brother, Kirk, have held their stances since the 80s and that's not an easy thing to do, especially growing up in that part of the world. They should be proud and stay strong. The only reason channels like Hallmark and others even do this is for clout, not because they agree or even have real beliefs. The political climate determines how they align themselves.

In society the line that was once clear and vivid between good and evil, right and wrong and moral and immoral is blurred. It's our fault. How many times have we heard "give them and inch and they take a mile"..When I send my child to a school that I hand picked because of their mission statement, meeting the staff and appreciating what they had to say then find out someone was hired that do not fit my standards I am obligated to remove my child. This is unfair and results in a broken contract between the school and myself. The school is obligated to uphold the specific standard parents signed up for...it's just too important..

@@ephTheClone I am aware of what the Bible says about homosexuality as I'm aware of what it says about divorce, adultery and many other things. If your intention is to try to prove to me that I'm not a Christian, or that I have been led astray, such a conversation is not appropriate in the comments of a KZread video. I imagine such a conversation would have to do with the person's spiritual wellbeing in mind, and not using the Word of God to try to prove a point because if I am indeed not a Christian and indeed have been led astray, then I highly doubt this is the way to make me see the light. That is a conversation that would have to be conducted with love, sincerity and a genuine desire to see that person grow with God, not to score points in the chat function of a video. Thank you for the brief conversation. I hope you have an amazing day.

The reality is, most women don't want to watch gay couples on screen. Most women are straight and tend to idealize the traditional man/woman relationship, which is why they like romantic movies so much. They aren't going to feel the same connection and yearning watching two dudes kiss. Also, women are not nearly as prone to fetishes and homosexuality as are men, which means they won't get any rush or thrill from watching gays touch and have sex. In fact, it often has the opposite effect.

Good to know that the group that is supposedly such a small margin is running things like it's the majority of how to run things. Scriptwriter: "I'm glad you enjoyed my script." Director: "If was great! We just have one quick question for you. How many trans-gender, non-binary, pansexual, cupiosexual, trans-abled, unpaid bi-sexual interns do you have in catering?" Scriptwriter: "What? Huh? What in the hell are you talking about? It's a script about magical creatures in a forest who find a human child that was transported through a magic portal." Director: "That's great! Is the child on puberty blockers or have they already had their testosterone blocked? Did the child get assigned its gender at birth? Is it a "cis" boy or a "cis" girl? Script: "Are you f'ing nuts? This is a children's show. It's a little girl. There is no "cis" in front of it." Director: "Oh...I don't know if we can fully get behind this. We have to cave in to the minority and be puppets for the WOKE community and the LGBTQ+IA+RSVP+DDT+TNT+QVC+ABC123+R2D2+C3POhnoyoudidn't! You need to have at least 1 trans-abled monster in the script. Maybe have one claw slightly shorter than the other flipper or this might have ramifications to those who wish to watch this show." Scriptwriter: "Ramifications for whom? The Half Crab/Half Fish hybrid might feel offended or people who support this particular hybrid might be offended? Are you kidding me? It's not a real thing! It's a character...in a movie!" Director: "So you don't think imaginary characters don't deserve to be defended at all?" Scriptwriter: "Oh eat a bag of d!cks! I'll go somewhere else where they aren't brainwashed and drinking the WOKE Kool-Aid. Oh...good to know you weren't upset about how a crab and a fish apparently had sex so they could have a hybrid crabfish." Director: "Oh...that one of the reasons we approved the script originally. It wasn't a problem for us here at WOKE-A-LOT Productions."
