This program is not for someone who wants complete liberty to make their own personalized card design. I don't have time to list the many, many disappointments. It would work for a beginner or someone who doesn't mind using the cheesy templates provided. No blank card option is available and it's ridiculous that I can remove everything from a card to make my own creation, but the Hallmark Emblem is not removable from the back of each card. :(

I am considering buying this and found your review immensely helpful in deciding. Great job!

Nice Video! I've been using Hallmark software for years. It's the best for good looking cards. I also upgrade when a new version comes out. You did an excellent job showing how to use it. To the commenters who ask - YES - the Hallmark logo is removable, just go into your settings and click the box. I leave it on because I'm old, and Hallmark is the best cards...I also change the bottom part to have my name on it, not just "me". Very Classy. The cards have become the hit of my family.

Thanks for the review, Personally, I would have liked you to cover: HALLMARK always prints on the back. Can I completely design my own cards (use a blank template). Did you use it Windows 10? install from disk? any install problems (I am reading lots of negative comments for use on Window 10 - Thank you

I know this video is 3 years old, but unless I missed it, I didn't see any mention of adding your personal photo's. Well, I've been using this program since about 2018-2019-ish and adding a personal photo was a breeze. Fast forward to 2023, I can no longer add my photo's anymore, and I'm thinking if I paid $35 bucks for it and there has been an update, it still wouldn't explain why they would remove a feature that I already paid for.

as a designer i found the software limited. specially when i get paid a 2 dollars for personalaized designed cards.

Has anyone seen a Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe released after 2019? I've seen some claim to be 2022 version, but release date 2019.

I used this software on my old Win 7 machines last year and it did an impressive job! I recently purchased a MACbook Pro and had to purchase their MAC version. Their MAC version is loaded with bugs, horrible experience and I could never recommend this product to anyone with a MAC.

Yes, you can have two versions at the same time.

It's difficult to hear you and very distracting with your brother in the background. I appreciate your video though. It was helpful!

What size envelope do you use?

Can you deleted the hallmark logo on the back?

Sadly the software does not allow it to be removed.

​@@evandrinks Just a thought... can you export the finished card to PDF then import that PDF into a graphics package, say Adobe Illustrator, for example, then remove the logo in there? Have you tried this? what was the outcome? Can you try if you have a graphics package that you can import a PDF and let us know the outcome?

Apparently not, but just stick a Post-It note in the area where the Hallmark logo would print. It will print on the Post-It and then just take it off after it comes out of the printer.

I was using the HP Officejet 5255 printer. The newer HP Envy Pro 6455 replaces that model. I have also printed on cardstock with the HP Envy Photo 7855 printer.

Yes, I also own the Card Studio Select 8. The Deluxe has more cards though.
