The character of House just breaks my heart. It evokes the image of a person who endlessly saves people from drowning, all in the hope that one day he'll run out of breath while trying to save just one more guy and then maybe he'll be happy at last.

You summed up so well. When he acts silly and childish around his collegues to annoy them, not particularly insulting but when he tries to keep things lighter, like impersonating southern priest, doing differentials in meeting hall Or hospital corridor or his wheelchair tricks, he is actually trying to steal smiles from his otherwise miserable lonely self. It is so sad that his character become more and more miserable and lonely towards the end and he ends up losing everyone and everything he loved including his identity.

I agree. That character is the most interesting I’ve ever seen on tv or movies.

I was Wilson, and I used to have a friend who was House. They make it really tough to be their friend, let me tell you.

I once read that Hugh Laurie once described House as a healer but damaged and I think that’s exactly what he is

House pushes people away because he is afraid of being hurt. He doesn’t want patients to see him because he doesn’t want to seem like less than he is because of his disability. He is afraid of what he wants the most, love and admiration.

The bad or good things. Like you want... House doesn't end happy. House doesn't end bad. You don't know. 😕 You have to think about your own ending. 😌 For me... I chose a good one. He's with Wilson until he dies and then: he goes to the prison. 😕🙃 Or he'll kill himself. Even if he doesn't always think so... he needs Wilson. Needed. 😓 But for me... it never ends. Ok, as a rule of thumb, I am not a big fan of H/W videos. However, you really pulled it off. You actually had me believing that they were in a relationship. Some of those clips were edited perfectly. My hats off to you.

Should've gone with Jeff Buckley instead of Rufus. The show used Buckley's version. Wainwright is too fast and superficial. Wainwright also doesn't translate the 4th, the 5th and misses the minor fall. Those are musical terms, and with Wainwrights background should've known and done better. "The Holy Dark" instead of "The Holy Dove"? I know Wainwright has his fans, but he came up short in this.
